Zip-off sleeves convert it to a vest in warm weather, and at the airport it's like having an extra carry-on bag - just fill up the pockets and send it through X-ray screening! Made of water-resistant nylon with a two-way zipper and poly lining. Machine washable.

Disappointed

I wanted to really like this jacket because of the number of pockets but am disappointed with the following features: (1) The hood is not removable and creates so much volume in the collar that the collar stays vertical in the back of my neck and feels uncomfortable. (2) The drawstring cords have unfinished, fray ends, which looks cheap and unkempt. (3) The two sleeve snaps at the wrist are set in such a way that the sleeve is still too wide for anyone with slender or even normal wrists. (4) For a light summer jacket the length is too long; I ordered M and am about 5'4" and the jackets sits about mid-thigh. Pros: Great pockets and the fabric is nice. But given the disadvantages, I'll have to regrettably return it.
