this shirt truly is the ultimate sun block shirt-its collar unfolds to block the back of your neck, making it cooler and not as susceptible to sunburn. additionally, it has a scarf sown into the neck so it just wraps around your neck, and even has a snap so it stays in place. Genius!

Not what I expected

Sizing really runs small. Also side pockets do not conceal the contents. This was my first clothing purchase but I do not think I will order anything else from the clothing line. Disappointed and extremely overpriced.

Great for the desert

I'm currently working in Kandahar, Afghanistan. The sun is glaringly bright and the heat brutal and this shirt sounded made to order for protection against both. So far, it's worked really well. I noticed one customer commented on the fabric being very unpleasant in humidity, but there is no humidity here, so I've not experience any problems in that area. Instead, the fabric is lightweight enough to be comfortable in the 100+ degree heat so I can keep the sleeves down to block the sun. I handwash it; our facilities are limited, and it hang dries w/in a few hours. I agree about the Velcro though- I'm not crazy about it and have half a mind to remove it- the sleeves stay rolled up w/out it anyway. Anyway, if you're in a desert, it's a good buy.

One of the worst purchase

This shirt is very disappointing. It lost its shape once it was washed and it sticks to the skin when it's hot and humid. Very uncomfortable and unbecoming. Feel like wearing a rag. One of the worst purchases I made.
