I loved this jacket right up until I was caught in a ferocious downpour. The water soaked through the jacket in no time, and I spent the rest of my walk increasingly wet, cold, and uncomfortable. I expected better performance from a "water-resistant" jacket.

This jacket is one of the best and most versatile jackets that I own. I took it with me on a two week tour of the Czech Republic where it served me well. I use it around home all the time. Great protection from rain and/or wind. It is full of pockets and a has a stowable hood and is easy to pack.
