VaultPro Gateway Handbag

I searched all over the internet for a new travel bag. Almost everything they sell now is bigger and bulkier than what I was looking for. This bag is the perfect size. It's smaller than most so I can carry it comfortably but it still holds everything I want to take out touring for a day. The triangular shape fits snugly against your hip and doesn't stick out at all so you aren't constantly banging it into things. And Hallelujah! A travel bag with a compartment for a water bottle! I was a little worried when I ordered the bag because I'd read a few reviews that said the water bottle compartment was too small. This isn't true. A standard 16.9 oz. (the size in your typical 24 pack) fits perfectly and the compartment zips completely closed. I bought a refillable Copco 16.9 oz Hydra bottle and it fits into the compartment and the zipper zips all the way to the bottle cap which sticks out about an inch. This however doesn't cause any problem as the bottle is still quite secure. The large locking zipper pocket will hold my camera, passport wallet and sunglasses. The zipper unzips all the way across the top and down the size to give easy access. There is a large interior zipper pocket, 2 other smaller pockets, a place for a pen or lipstick, several credit card slots and a key fab with a light. In addition to the compartments you can see on the front of the bag in the picture, the back of the bag has one large zipper compartment that would easily hold my large passport wallet if I wanted it easily accessible. There is also another zipper that will allow the bag to expand an extra inch or so wider if need be. The strap has a locking mechanism that would allow you to lock your bag around, say, the arm of a cafe chair. Even though this is a smaller bag there are enough places to organize tissues, aspirin, bandaids, travel toothbrush and anything else I might possibly need while touring or hiking park trails. I love this bag.

This bag is terrific for travel; there are many zippered compartments, but the best feature is the lock on the main compartment. I was able to put my travel wallet in there (along with other things), lock it and not worry about it while walking around the crowded streets of Istanbul and especially through the Grand Bazaar. When on my trip I discovered that I could unzip the bottom portion of the bag and it would expand, very cool. The tall vertical side zippered compartment is good for a small bottle of water or eyeglass case. I bought the wine color, which is a nice change from black. Overall, I am pleased with the bag and it will ge going on another trip soon.

I am a purse junkie, and this goes to the top of my collection. Having a compartment for a water bottle is what does it for me - how many times I've gotten water all over my purse or bag, but this keeps it secure. It's got the perfect pockets for cell phone, wallet, and essentials. It lays flat and the purple color is great. It packs flat in a carry-on.

Love this bag! Holds everything I need and I can expand it if I need to. Everything is easy to get to, and it is comfortable on my shoulder, or across.

I really liked my purse and used it to travel to Kuwait to live for 5 months. I only used it for occasional travel days before. Then it became my everyday purse. However, when the main compartment zipper "handle" came off I tried to get it repaired. Ok, zipper handle back on but it just isn't the same now. I love the design, but not the durability.

I love most everything about it except I wish it were a little bigger!

but it only measures 11" across. Am glad they added additional space and inches to it since, altho the bag is wonderful, it needed to be larger inside to accommodate maps, envelopes etc. Sunglass fit extremely well in the water bottle holder,by the way.

The first purse I received after ordering had serious flaws. Two inside pocket seams were incomplete; the pockets would not hold anything. I returned the purse, received a replacement quickly, and the second purse was of high quality and I'm enjoying using it.

I was still at the airport, when I noticed that the toggle on the bag was defective. Therefore, I had to "hold" the toggle closed for my entire trip. The Khaki bag also shows dirt stains from having to hold it closed. My daughter has the same bag in green and had no trouble whatsoever with her bag. I like the desgin of the bag, but I would worry if I had another one, that the same thing could happen again!

Although it is a great bag, the main zipper on my bag broke after a few months of use. I am hoping it can be replaced or repaired.

I have had this purse for less than two weeks and the "twist clasp" on the front pocket has loosened so much that it won't stay closed. Everything else seems okay but i am nervous about the lack of security with that pocket.

This purse is great for traveling!! I took it to Europe with me and it has a lot of different pockets and a spot for a water bottle. The main compartment has a clip to lock to keep your money safe. This is a great purse and I would defiantly recommend it for traveling. Having it a security purse set my mind at ease I made sure it was locked while touring and it was great, the tour guides even pointed out which people in France were pick pockets but I felt safe with this purse because it would be very hard for someone to get into it. It's light and it holds a lot, I will be traveling with this purse again!

Handbag was a good size and just right for traveling. Would look at larger bags for longer trips.!!!!

Awesome bag. Just the right size to run out of the house, with enough cubbies, and pockets and zippered sections to meet all of my needs. Even the Nook tucks into it nicely.

Bought this because we travel and I liked the security features. It's a bit smaller than I like, but do appreciate the adjustable strap for cross-body wear. However, the second time I used the clasp to hold the main compartment closed, it fell off even though--to my knowledge--no one had so much as tugged on it. While I can live without that clasp, the zipper that turns the corner to close the main section always (always!) caught, no matter how careful, and eventually began to tear next to the zipper. Because it is on the zipper itself, it cannot be repaired. Design flaw or ??

I expected the this bag to be bigger. I am surprised it is so small. Not sure how much is going to fit in it but I'll find out when I try to use it soon for a trip to Italy.

This bag is well made and designed. I like the arrangement of the pockets for organization. The tapered shape fits me well as I like to place my bag across my body for comfort and security. I like the way it is expandable, but wish it was just a little bit bigger, so it could hold an iPad. It would even be more multi-functional if it featured some subtle contrasting trim or piping, making it suitable to take to nice restaurants when traveling, too.

Great size purse. Easy to locates items. Loved it for travel. Holds a lot yet you can easily find things.

This is a perfect size to pack. Very durable and great coverage.

I already had this handbag in black. When the weather got hot it was too dark to go with my summer clothes so I started looking for a summer version. I spent hours on the web, but there is nothing that compare to this Vaultpro Gateway Handbag. So I bought it in olive which is a nice light color which will go with anything. Obviously I love this bag. I am not very organized, but this bag has me organized so that I always know where everything is, and I was thrilled to discover that my folding cane fits perfectly in the water bottle compartment.

The vaultpro gateway handbag was everything I had hoped it would be. The two outside front pockets keep those items needed for easy access and the vertical pocket held a water bottle perfectly. I liked being able to clasp the top zipper for extra protection. Great product. I highly recommend it.

This was pfect for two weeks travelling through Europe by train and staying in apartments. I was able to have my iPad with me rather than leaving it in the apartments, as this bag fits it perfectly! I do agree with other comments that the one toggle clasp on the front always flips open, and that metal on that clasp taps together with any movement causing a constant "tap,tap,tap...." when walking. Otherwise, it is well designed and well made!

I got the Gateway Handbag. I am used to a larger bag. This one is right for our trip starting next week. We will be at a big convention, and this is good security. I am using the bag now. I have learned to use the restroom with the bag handle around my neck. Good for a big public place. No hanging it on the hook.

I just returned from a trip overseas and the first time using this purse. It is the first time that I knew where everything was during the entire trip. It is small enough to be convenient and large enough to hold everything you need. I was amazed that I could carry my water bottle, umbrella, passport holder, and wallet all in the same place. The only exception was the front pocket where the clasp kept opening. I am going to put velcro on it before my next trip to make sure it stays closed.

I plan to travel to Paris and searched and searched for a handbag. I ordered this bag and have been using it on a daily basis. It is a great bag and will be perfect for the trip. It is light weight, comfortable, and roomy with a place for everything, including a water bottle. Thank you for listening to the comments and correcting the velcro closure on the front pocket with a secure fastener. This bag is the best.

I liked the shape of this bag, and the smaller size, but after using it for a day or so I found it inconvenient, a bit too small for my stuff, and the color was a little bluer than I thought it would be. I liked the flap pocket on the front for my phone. It would have been better to have more credit card slots. Nicely made, and I liked the material. I returned it and bought a 'healthy back' bag instead.

I like this purse. It is comfortable fitting over the head and across the body, however, I would like the whole thing to be a little bigger. Even opening all the zippers it could be a little longer as it tends to become fat. The clasp on the pocket on the outside, should be harder to turn as it opens up unexpectantly. The pocket is a good size for a cell phone but with the clasp suddenly opening up, it isn't secure.

The VaultPro Handbag is an extremely well organized bag that is as safe as it is compact. There are many zippered compartments as well as a lock on the main compartment. The strap for this shoulder bag, which is easily adjustable, is reinforced with metal, which makes it difficult to cut. While it is smaller than I had anticipated, its many convenient features make it a good value.

This purse is great. It is so light to carry and holds everything I need.

I love the purse I bought. The design is very user friendly and well made. My husband really like the look of it.

I like the comfort with which it carries over my shoulder, the compartments are well thought out and the latches are good. I can fit my I-Pad inside if I take the zipper case off the I-Pad. I wish it the bag was just a bit bigger to accommodate my I-Pad with its zipper case. Also, it would be nice to have a more fashionable leather option instead of the utilitarian material that covers it.. But, it is good.

BECAUSE OF THE REVIEWS OF A SIMILAR BAG WITH A MAGNETIC POCKET THAT WAS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO STAY CLOSED, I PURCHASED THIS BAG. THEY HAVE REPLACED THE MAGNET WITH A TOGEL CLOSURE. IT WORKS WHEN CLOSED BUT EASILY OPENS WHEN CARRIED AND BRUSHED AGAINST ANYTHING. KEEP TRYING.
