Nice...but
By Martha, Ypsilanti, MI in April, 2013 -
I did not expect to put my camera in it, so it worked fine in terms of space. Not big enough to hold my checkbook for regular use, but I don't carry that when I travel. The extra length of the strap was easily fixed by adding a small elastic loop sewn to the end and wrapping around the outer belt (takes about 10 minutes to do). But 3 days out on the trip, the zipper on the main compartment split open behind the slider, and it's been inconsistent in deciding whether or not it will stay properly closed - not what you want in a "security" waist pack. I will probably replace the zipper myself - but wonder why this fragile plastic coil was chosen. Also, though the clip cannot be seen, it can be easily pinched through the covering - and thieves don't just guess, they train. Could use a clip-latch on that connection as well for extra safety.

Worn and frayed covers
By Lei, Mililani, HI in March, 2013 -
I have the old hip pack(stash safe) and I like it, but the cover that covers the latch is frayed. (The material is not strong enough to last.) The latch rubs against it and the cover becomes frayed. It is not what it was intended to secure, covering the latch. The other feature that is getting worn is the cable that the belt is attached to. The frayed cable snags my clothes.
I hope the new "fanny pack" will not be a disappointment as the others have commented. Please add the new purse(safe pac) which is light weight to your items. I have seen it. -
Urban Hipster
By Peggy S., Milwaukee, WI in August, 2012 -
I was very unhappy with this "fanny pack". There was not enough room to store my wallet, camera, keys, and cell phone - much less anything else. It was barely big enough for my wallet. I imagine the other features like the non cut straps and hidden latch would be all right. To me this was $45 wasted as I only used it once and then put it in a box to go to Goodwill. The $10 "fanny pack" I got 10 years ago, is a little worn, but is the perfect size. And I was going to take it on a 9 day trip next week. It is a good thing I tried it out before I went.

Attractive hipster
By Diana H., Denver, CO in March, 2012 -
This is a highly functional and safety minded hipster purse. It has many great pockets, locking zippers and a hidden waist fastener. To top if off, it is beautiful in appearance.

a disappointment
By marne d., new smyrna beach, FL in February, 2012 -
I hoped to replace a well-used fanny-pack. This item has new "bells & whistles" but has problems. New strap design allows excess strap to flap around; hard to fit to usable size. Don't need all the card slots. Could use depth room. Can hardly close over my hard glasses case. Safety clips are hard to utilize (too small?) Will use, but not as good as older design.
