Very Satisfied
By Lisa, Winter Springs, FL in May, 2013
Traveled in United Kingdom and Paris. It worked as advertised and made for compact unit when packing. I always travel with a three prong T shaped adapter (which is pretty heavy) and it did not create any connection issues when plugged into the unit. I am very happy with this unit.
doesn't work!

This stoppped working after about 12 uses. Unfortunately I did not keep the receipt so I could not obtain a replacement. It seemed liked a good product, but only if it actually works!

This worked in Italy but it didn't work in Israel.
Couldn't get it to work
By Louise K., Live Oak, CA in August, 2012
I bought this converter for my trip to Europe, (London, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and France) I couldn't get it to work. It kept falling out of the socket and when it did stay in, it never lit up saying there was available power, only when I wiggled it around did it light up and I could charge my iPhone but when I let go it disconnected again. I ended up just using adapters in the sockets and they worked just fine for all of the countries I visited. It's a nice idea and I would probably travel with it again just IN CASE it ever comes in handy.
The best charger/converter
By Renee S., Montclair, NJ in July, 2012
Used this in Italy and it worked so well that I am ordering a second one. Highly recommend this.
Wish I would have bought 2!
By Pam N., Ventura, CA in July, 2012
Took a trip to Europe with iPads and iPods so this came in very handy. We travelled with two teenage boys so my only regret was not buying two of them so they could use it in their own room. We saw a lot of people with really bulky adaptors and we were really happy with the compact size of this one.
A Must for overseas travel!
By Therese J., CT in July, 2012
I was able to charge my iPhone and use my curling iron at the same time on a recent trip to Spain with this 3-in-1 Adaptor, Converter, Charger saving much time and eliminating the need for a second Adaptor/Converter which other members of my group of traveling friends needed. I've told them to order one for themselves from Magellan's for their next trip.
Adaptor/Convertor/charger
By Stu A., Fair Oaks Ranch (San Antonio area), TX in June, 2012
This little item is a huge improvement over the ones I have used in the past. The weight is much improved, and the useability is very nice. The outlets in Spain (my most recent destination) are sunken, and it still worked by manipulating the plugs just a little bit. So glad to have this single unit instead of the older one which required multile pieces.
Not worth the money
By David S., Billings, MT in May, 2012
We used this converter one time to charge our iPads. After this initial charge the converter would heat up and cut off. It is not worth the price. Very disppointed in the quality of the product.
A little flimsy.
By Sharon B., Plano, TX in May, 2012
We recently took it to Europe and used it with the mini-power strip, which took care of our power needs. It seems, however, a little flimsy, given the price.
Excellent
By Gretchen P N., Providence, RI in May, 2012
Bought this unit for my recent one week stay in Venice, Italy. After figuring out how to get the different parts disconnected from each other, it worked like a charm. I travelled with an iPhone, iPad, and camera, was able to charge all. The USB port is especially helpful.

This product worked as expected and did not take up great space in my suitcase. The prodcut did not heat up and was very useful on my trip to several different coutnries in Europe.
Seemed good but failed quickly
By Jana K., West Palm Beach, FL in March, 2012
I used this product on a recent trip to France. At first, they worked extremely well but unfortunately they didn't last. After using each of the four I purchased for a few hours to charge my iPhone, each one overheated and burned out. These were expensive and I'm very disappointed. I wish I could return them for my money back.
MORE COMPACT

First time traveler to Ireland. This was perfect, plugged in my camera and recharged my Iphone on the usb. So convenient and easy.
Excellent device

I own two of these adaptors/voltage converters, and have used them in Europe and Asia. The Euro plug is fairly straightforward: detach the backing plate that is used for 2200 V Asian sockets, attach the euro plug to the voltage converter and plug in to the socket. Then attach your electronics. If using this in Asia, you plug in the full unit (backing plug plate plus voltage converter) - note that given the voltage differential in Asia, the unit will hum and get warm and may even turn off intermittently in order to protect the unit and your electronics. It could be annoying at night while you are trying to sleep, so plan accordingly. Also, if you are trying to charge your laptop - your laptop comes with a voltage converter in the cord (the chunky black box), so you do not have to use the converter unit, but just the plug adaptor. In fact, I don't recommend that you even try to use the voltage converter component with alaptop in Asia because you will overload the converter unit almost immediately. Just take the backing (plug component) and plug in your laptop's cord directly.

This device is handy and compact. Love the USB charger. I haven't been able to figure out how to move the plugs to fit an Australian socket. Has anyone used the device in Australia?
Great product
By Paula S., Sarasota, FL in June, 2011
Just returned from a month in Ireland and England and this product worked perfectly to charge camera battery, IPAD, kindle, and run hair dryer even hot rollers! I saw some like products that were less expensive but reviews were not good so it was definitely worth the price to get a product that worked.
Good little 3-in-1.
By Nadine N., Washington, DC in June, 2011
I just used this on a trip to Europe, and it worked in hotels, on the train, and in the airport. We were able to charge two items at once. It was great to have one device that both charged and converted. I also loved the USB port. The two red handle lights helped us to know which sockets were working. It is a little awkward to pack since it doesn't come with a slip cover to shield the two socket prongs, but I put in my charger bag, and it was fine.

We have just returned from a month in Italy and Sicily where we used the Travelon 3-in-1 Adaptor and Converter many times. It worked like a charm and our traveling companions asked to use it too. Everyone was very impressed with it's compactness and ease of use. Good product.
Travelon 3-in-1 Adaptor, Converter, Charger
By Fran N., MA in October, 2010
Travelon's 3-in-1 Adaptor/Converter/Charger: lighter & more compact than some other brands; did a great job of charging my camera & iPod Nano during a recent trip to Europe; an ingenious & versatile travel tool. To get the most out of your Travelon, keep the user guide with the unit. Make an extra copy (or 2). Well worth the price.
Worked great!
By Tracy B., TX in October, 2010
Worked beautifully for a week long trip to Italy. We were able to charge our camera battery and cell phone at the same time at night with no problem! Also worked great for my flat iron!
WORKED!
By LINDA E., HUNT VALLEY, MD in July, 2010
I used it for my hot rollers and it worked! in Denmark. The only thing I noticed is that there is a high pitched hum when I plugged it in . So, I made sure to unplug it when I wanted to sleep. It is lightweight and easy to use. My hot rollers did seem to get hot very fast. So, I monitored them a little closer than when at home.
Compact and convenient
By Kris A., IL in February, 2010
Bought this for a recent trip to Egypt. Took a minute to figure out how to separate all the pieces, ane of the "hooks" that hold the 2 main pieces together broke off easily after the second use but that didn't affect the device at all. Adapter and converter worked very well and I appreciated being able to charge my camera and cell phone at the same time, using the regular outlet for one and the USB connection for the other. Very small and lightweight device, so easy to pack.
