This three-dial Travel Sentry-certified combination lock is specially designed to be easily unlocked by airport security (using secured tools), and then re-locked after your bag has been inspected. It Makes Life Easier

We always use Travel Safe Locks when flying on commercial airlines whether nationally or internationally. On only one occasion was one of our bags opened (at least that we knew about) and the lock was undamaged. Even if the locks only serve to keep honest folks honest, they do provide peace of mind against easy theft of luggage contents.

Locks broke in transit

Unfortunately two thirds of the locks I purchased broke in transit. Some were still on my bags, with half of the casing missing.

Really needed these

Received a strong recommendation to lock luggage for all parts of trip in South America, but need to comply with TSA reqts in US. These worked well for this trip and seemed solid enough to last for many more.
