Taxi Wallet

This is the second best travel accessory I own (the best being the Currency Organizer Item # SV616). The wallet is small and can fit deep in your side pocket (NEVER put a wallet in your hip pocket when traveling!!). It is great for managing two currencies and coins. This is the wallet I carry with me and contains most of my day's money. I generally also carry a money clip in my other side pocket and keep about double my average purchase in the money clip. I usually pay street vendors using the money clip, and recharge it from the taxi wallet. That way, should I get pick pocketed, I don't loose everything. But, for organizing your money when outside the hotel room, this wallet is perfect. I don't know how I lived without it.

I had been looking for a small wallet for a small purse that I had wanted to carry. This is and will be my forever wallet. I can keep what I need in the wallet and it can go anywhere, in my pocket, in my purse (big or small), and I am completely organized. I am so glad that I took a chance and am sure that it won't be the last of these that I purchase, as they make great gifts. Several are going out as gifts for Christmas this year, and it won't be the last. These really are unisex if purchased in the black or brown.

This is a great alternative when I travel to areas where I feel uncomfortable carrying a purse. Fits comfortably and neatly in front pocket of pants and hides discreetly under a blazer. Easily holds driving documents, credit card, ample cash, and a dollar or more in change without being bulky. I purchased the Magellan's RFID Wallet at the same time, and it works very well when a purse is appropriate or necessary. For my specific needs and goals, this was a great investment.

I returned the taxi wallet and am currently waiting for a refund. I found the wallet to be too stiff -- the coin pocket needed to have more room. I also thought there were two coin pockets -- my mistake. Years ago I had a similar wallet and the coin pocket was better and the leather more flexible. I was disappointed with this wallet -- the reason it was returned.

I bought this wallet several years ago to use while traveling. It's compact and holds everything - bills, change, and a few cards. The two bill compartments are great when you are changing currencies, or for stashing receipts. The leather is high quality, and it's well made. I liked it so much that I kept using it when I returned home! This second taxi wallet was purchased as a gift.

The amount I was charged for shipping was wrong. I sent an email to customer service and I got an immediate refund and apology. Wow! I am so used to having to fight for corrections (and struggle to even get in touch with the company) I was shocked by how good the service was. I am now a loyal customer!

This wallet is so convenient for traveling. It's small size allows me to store it anywhere. It has held up to $400 in cash without being bulky. In addition, it holds a lot of change AND a few credit cards. Don't travel without it now.

I love this wallet, but there is one small irritation. The change tends to fall out when I open it the wrong way, which sometimes happens because the two sides look alike. Otherwise, there isn't a better wallet, particularly because it holds everything and is still slim enough to slip in a pocket.

After experimenting with various wallet styles I finally found something practical and utilitarian. I don't actually use it for cash but for all the other "stuff" I need to carry. Despite the compact size it keeps everything I need very accessible. This one's a keeper.

The wallet is very well made and finished. It fits in my front jeans pocket and carries what I need - money, credit cards, Medicare Card, etc. without being too bulky. Will take it to Europe next week on a biking trip.

I've used Taxi wallets for over 10 years now (three of them). Whenever they eventually wear out, I look around at other designs but always come back to Taxi. The change pocket means I no longer have bowls of coins around the house.

The wallet is small but it has a place for all my needs.

Ever since I was a little boy all I wanted was this wallet. My dad had one and I wanted the same. So for my 12 birthday he got me one just like his and I have carried it around ever since, there's no wallet like a taxi wallet I always say.

The 'Taxi Wallet' I ordered was a Christmas gift for my son, who had already worn a 'Taxi Wallet' out and was looking for a replacement. I could tell by his smile he was very happy to recieve the replacement. I was more than satisfied with the service that I recieved from the ordering to the delivery. I recieved the wallet within a week. I not only give the wallet a five-star rating, I also give the company a five-star rating.

This is the greatest wallet ever - so practical! I had one which was about 20 yrs. old, and it finally wore out! I was so happy to find a replacement source! This one is even nicer than the original; I love it and have been showing it off to everyone! I use it principally as a change purse and to hold bills after I have broken large ones ( this way all my cash is not in one place) and that slot between the halves is great to hold club or discount cards to keep them handy!

Good materials and construction, all in all a very good wallet. But I thought it would be a bit smaller, easier to put into my front pocket.
