Heavy and Hot

Construction is excellent, and I liked the shape and color (Ivory). To be packed it needs to be folded in half and laid flat in your suitcase. If you roll it too much it creases. My main complaint is that this hat is too heavy and hot for travel in extremely warm weather. There is no crown ventilation and the top of my head felt like it was baking when I wore it in direct sun.
I found that I kept taking it off when my head got hot and that defeats the purpose of owning this hat. I am returning it and looking for something lighter weight and more packable. -

This summer has been unusually hot and sunny and I have worn one of my 3 Sydney Diva Sun Hats (in different colours) every day. I love them. Unlike other hats I have tried, they are very cool and I don't end up at the end of the day with "hat hair". I love them. They can be custom fitted and unless there is a very high wind, stay securely on my head. The only improvement I can suggest is an under the chin cord to ensure they stay on my head during a fast boat ride on the lake.

I love this hat! Wore it everywhere during a week at Lake Tahoe, CA. That sun is strong and I felt completely protected, including the back of my neck. Packed wonderfully--just roll it up and avoid creasing the brim. Very flattering also.

This stylish hat provides protection from the sun, packs flat and "pops" back to its almost before-packing shape. The fact that it has an adjustable fit allows for comfort and a secure fit. I did find it necessary to attach a ribbon to keep it from blowing off while on a boat ride.

bought the hat to go to Australia! Gold Coast precisely. to wear on swimming pool deck all day. Ability to mash into luggage a big plus especially international travel luggage. It fits fine and looks good - hanging on door waiting to be packed. Leave mid July.
