Support Fit Over-the-Calf Socks

These support socks are great. My legs feel good and my ankles do not swell when I'm wearing them. I had one problem - they are very thick. It's a good weight if you are out in snow boots or your shoes are on the loose side. I traded two of the three pair I ordered for the lighter weight trouser support socks and couldn't be happier. these compression over the calf socks are very comfortable and definately relieve leg fatigue. So far one trip and one washing they have held up well. They are an extra measure of protection for the DVT and PE that occured on a long trip. Inexpensive insurance. Worth a try.

I love these socks for traveling. I bought my first pair for a trip to Ireland. I had flown to Florida where one of my daughters was in college several times in the past few years, and even after that relatively short flight of 2.5 hrs, my feet and legs felt horrible. So out of desperation I bought the support socks hoping that they might help my feet/legs survive an extended flight to Ireland last year. Well they more than survived - they actually felt great throughout the whole flight and beyond. Since then I have purchased several more pairs for myself and the rest of the family and we've all worn them on trips to Egypt, Poland and Denmark. They all love them as well. We never fly without them!

I bought two pairs of these socks and liked them so much that I ordered four more. I prefer knee-high socks for their warmth and looks, and I like socks with cushioned soles for comfort. These socks have all of that and more.

I like these socks so well I ordered several more pair even though they are more expensive than most socks I buy. Since I have had begun to have more trouble than before with my lower back and general lower body alignment, these socks are great for exercise and days when I have to be on my feet a lot.

I washed the socks once, then wore them once on a trip. I had to change out of them because they had slipped down to mid-calf and despite pulling them up several times, they couldn't stay up. Worthless. I'm going back to the trusty, reliable Travel Sox which I've worn happily for years.

I've tried all the expensive support socks too, but these are by far the best even though they are reasonably priced. They are more comfortable, easier to put on, aren't too tight at the top, have smooth toes and padded bottoms. They have solved my problems with swollen ankles.

Bought these for trip to Australia. Wore them on the plane and they were extremely comfortable. A must buy for those long airplane trips. My legs nomrally are a little sore after a 4 hour plane ride. After 14 hours my legs still felt great!

These really are very soft, and they seemed to provide excellent support for my overseas flight. They are very warm, as well, which makes them wonderful for cool-season travel. I am not sure if I would wear them on a summer flight, however.

I bought these socks for compressing varicose veins and they seem to be doing a good job. Sometimes they drop down the calf, but not often. I wear a size 11-12 shoe and the large size fits well.

Very comfortable, very snuggly and they stay up.

I love these socks. I've worn them several times on very long flights and have not had the usual ankle and feet swelling.

My husband and I both wore Magellan support socks for flights to and from Hawaii. Whereas we usually experience a great deal of swelling of the ankles on such travel, we were both pleased to have much reduced swelling and were back to normal within a day of arrival. They are comfortable, warm, fit over large calves and stay up. I'd recommend to anyone who has problems with swollen feet.
