South America

South America is a land of rich natural beauty, history, and colorful cultures. Historical settlements of the sophisticated Inca Indians in the mid 1400's were similar in size to the Roman Empire. Now the influence and language are mostly Spanish and Portuguese. A continent of extremes, from the highest waterfall, Angel Falls, to the longest river, the Amazon, from the longest mountain range in the Andes, to the highest capital city of La Paz, Bolivia and the highest lake, Titicaca, there is much to offer the traveler.
