Europe

Although the European Union connects most of 'old Europe' primarily for the mutual benefit of trade, open borders and a common currency, the individual European countries have maintained their unique history and traditions. They have also kept their languages, although English is the official EU standard. With a respect and pride for their history, the countries of Europe are vigilant in preserving their historical sites, architectural achievements, culture and art.
