• This is the second security purse I have purchased. I like it but not as much as I l9iked the first one. It is much smaller and makes for a tight fit of necessary stuff. I miss the covered inside phone pocket.
I purchased this as a replacement for the larger one I got a little over 2 years ago. While I intended it for travel, it was so convenient to use that I ended up using it almost everyday. The bad news is that the cables broke and poked through the strap. They are needle SHARP! Scratched me ( think bloody) and snagged whatever coat /sweater/jacket I was wearing. The strap is long enough that I can have it shortened by a shoemaker and still use the bag. And I will. I gave bag #1 a 5* rating and if it was still available, I would get it again. I want to like the new one but the size just isn't as workable.

• I used this purse originally on a trip to Bali and found it to be a good investment. I had enough room for all my travel documents, camera, wallet, tissues and 'girlie' stuff. It fit well and was comfortable being worn all day & evening. Awesome.
Only suggestion would be to increase the internal size slightly to accommodate an iPad; apart from that....Great purse/handbag.

• The bag has a lot of nice features, even though it is a tad on the small size. A little planning ahead was required. The color goes with everything, The strap is easily adjustable to wear across the body or over the shoulder. It is also small enough that it fit inside a larger tote bag for carrying onto the airplane. Once we arrived, I just took it out and used it like a regular purse. I love the sense of security from the tough strap, zippers, and tuck in flap.

• I actually on my third one of these. I wear them out - which is hard to do. This is a purse that does not look like you are carrying a suitcase, but will hold a LOT without looking like it. And I love the security of the strap that is cut proof.

• i love the idea of the security wire in this purse, but all of these purse styles are too narrow at the top opening for me. i like a purse that opens up so that i can see what's in there. this purse is good for putting things into and keeping there til i get where i'm going, but not to actually USE while i'm in transit. i don't like digging down for my stuff in the dark.

• This is my second one. I loved the black leather one so much I wanted more colors. It is the perfect travel purse. It fits more than you would believe and all of the compartments are well thought out. When you receive it in the mail--it even comes with a brief note and sample of the steel used for the straps. Love it!

• This purse has traveled thousands of miles with me and has just the right amount of storage for what I carry with me--however, the cable wires in the strap have begun to pop through and have drawn blood on several occasions, so I can no long use it. I have ordered a different style with a "theft proof" strap and hope that it lasts longer and is as good a fit.

• A great bag except for one thing: the leather strap came unstitched from one side after one week's use, and I had to take it to my local shoe repair shop for restitching. They said the softness of the leather led to the stitching coming loose at that particular stress point. They restitched both sides, and I am hoping for the best!

• Bought my taupe purse in 2005 for the security strap & because it's across the body (a must). I was able to carry all I needed to; it's just waiting for my next trip. I also packed an extra tote to carry my camera and things, so if you don't have one, I'd get one.

• This is the most fabulous purse I have ever taken traveling!! I got it in black and it mixed well with everything I packed. While it's not the most stylish of all purses (wouldn't be a favorite at home), I took it all over New Zealand and Italy. It had plenty of room in all the right places, I felt very secure with the steel reinforcements (esp. in crowded Italy), it was comfortable and all the zippered compartments made organizing easy! It will be my forever travel purse! Thank you.

• I purchased this bag for a Round the World trip I was taking thinking that it would be the perfect thing to take with me. I liked the design and the added security features were a plus but after 6 months of use, the straps disconnected from the bag, leaving the bag usless. I was hoping it would last for the 10 months I was on the road. I have since replaced it with a Hedgren bag, very similar in style but a little bit bigger, and with a few more pockets to help things stay organized. I am not sure I would spend the money for this bag again.

• While I love the look and feel of this purse, I have now worn out my second one -- neither lasted more than a year. The cable wears out the strap, and at the fold small spikey fibers from the cable can be quite painful. The leather version may last longer but I am not willing to experiment again. I advise customers to purchase this if going where purse-theft is a real issue. Otherwise, know that the safety of the metal cable significantly reduces the life of the purse.

• The purse is perfect in style and features, except for the way the strap is connected to the purse if you try to use it as a shoulder bag. When the bag is used as a handbag, the double straps looks as it does in the web photo; however, if you want to make the strap into a single shoulder strap, because of the way the strap is designed, part of the strap ends up running parallel to the top of the bag, with an inch wide gap between the strap and the bag. It caused the bag to hang funny.
