I Couldn't Do Without It

• I have this bag's predecessor and I've carried it everywhere. Recently I wore it in Greece for 3 weeks and it was great. My only complaint is that the seams are starting to rip out. It's about 5 years old I guess and I've taken very good care of it. It didn't like being overstuffed I guess.

Traveling Securely

• Recently, I ordered the StashSafe 100 to use on a vacation trip. I found it to be very comfortable and enjoyed using the different sections to organize my money, credit cards and personal items. It made traveling in crowds feel much more secure.

Well designed

• It may not be as chic a look as I'd like but it holds all the things I like to carry with me while on vacation: wallet, glasses, passport, checkbook, car keys, home keys, hotel keys, receipts, etc. They all fit easily and there are plenty of separate compartments so that you can find things easily. Perhaps it's appeal is in it's functionality not it's appearance but that works for me.

just what I needed

• I wore this item on transatlantic flights, through airports, on city streets, through crowded marketplaces, and it served my purpose exceedingly well. I had all that I needed at my fingertips -- cash, passport, wallet, boarding passes, etc. -- along with the peace of mind that they were safe. I shopped around a good deal before making this purchase, wanting to be sure that I bought the right item, given the importance of its function. And now, in retrospect, I am certain that I did indeed make the right choice.

Our trip to the Philippines

• The clothes I purchased were everything you said they would be. Excellent. The seat cushions were hard. We did not use them on the return trip. The hat was perfect. The compression socks were good with the exception they cut off circulation around the knee. The fanny pack was perfect. The insect & sun protection did its job. Thanks.

secure and handy

• I purchased this in anticipation of riding overnight trains in India. I wanted to be able to lock my tickets, etc to a stationary object while I slept. I looped the strap through a steel handle in my bunk and locked up the zippers and steel strap cable. Easy. During the trip, I wore it as shown, with the pockets in front. It is a very convenient way to carry money, passport, etc. I gave it only 4 stars, because when I was wearing summer weight clothes, I could not make the strap short enough to fit me, so the bag sagged in front and was a little uncomfortable. When I was wearing heavier clothes (up north, in the mountains), it was perfect.

•   The StashSafe is well-designed, good looking, and spacious without being bulky. It is a little stiff to apply, and probably with more security than I may use except for clearly high-risk travel. However, it meets all its promise--and provides what I needed: hands-free access to phone, notebook, camera, and "sundries": throughout the house, walking the dog, and for ambulatory errands).

•   Love this product, very roomy I can fit my cell phone, digital camera and my sunglasses into this pack and still have room for a few other items. Best of all is I can secure everything at one time, including the buckle.

•   I felt very safe in travelling. Locking and unlocking the waist belt was very annoying but sensible. I need to find a better place to keep my key.

•   There is one critical dimension that was not specified in the product description . The maximum waist adjustment is just a tad short of 41 inches. While it excels in every other quality, it now only serves as a nice gift.

•   I have this and it is very good, makes you feel much more secure if you're carrying a lot of money or etc. in a bad area. Of course doing so is not recommended but I've had to a couple times.

My only complaint is that I'd like a bigger one. This one cannot hold my camera and my wallet and some other things I like to carry when traveling. It's okay for a night about town but not so good for day hiking etc..

•   I wore this product's predecessor for many, many years, until one of the internal steel cables finally began to unravel. From the Amazon to Aachen, I would put my video camera, TC's, and passport in it and take them everywhere, secure in the knowledge that if my hotel room was ripped off, I'd at least have those items safe with me. A great product that I am now re-ordering.

•   I received the leather version of this almost 15 years ago. I still wear it daily. It has been rained on, snowed on, splattered with mud, burned by tropical sun. It has been in fire buildings and in the middle of auto accident scenes. I carry my wallet, credit cards, PDA, pens/pencils, lip balm, first aid kit and business cards in it. I hang my cell phone, pager and rubber glove bag on it. It has been a true and faithful friend.
