It cuts down on how many bottles you have to pack and you don't have to worry if you forgot to take all of your meds, they are set out for day/night usage. Worry free and easy to travel with or just keep it at home. The easy pull out packs you can just throw in your purse or pocket and take with you. Love it !

My twin sister had a double lung transplant 2 years ago and takes many pills, so this will help her to keep them orderly. I especially liked that Magellan representative responded so quickly for a replacement packet when I called to request one because one of the closure tabs was missing. She told me the packet would be there the next day, and it was...in plenty of time for our trip.

•   This worked very well. My teenager went to Europe for two weeks without us this summer and I did not trust him to take meds out of bottles every day. He only takes meds once a day so I used each zip-bag for each day and it was perfect for the two weeks he was gone. I am amazed that the zip-bags came home empty (in other words he took his meds!!) There is also a compartment where I was able to put an inhaler and copies of the Rx. I am glad I bought this.

We've tried various pill organizers but this is by far the best. •   This is the greatest. The only thing i had to do was remember that the number one represented Sunday, the number two was Monday and so on down the line. The red was my morning dose the blue was my evening dose and the number eight held the doses for the following week. that way i had a two week supply on hand in the kit. i just got back from a two week stay in California and it was perfect. •   I purchased this product because I was taking a mini-break to Florida for a short 5 days. I needed something that was going to fit into my backpack carry-on that contained everything for my trip. Because the backpack was also mu suitcase, the travel pill organizer had to be compact and easy to place so that it took up as minimal space as possible. This particular organizer fit the bill
This organizer easily fit into the smallest corner of my carry on. It took up minimal space. With pills onboard, the organizer was about ½ inch thick, was about 6 inches long and 4 inches wide. As I take a significant amount for various health issues, having a compact pill organizer is no small matter.
The only draw back is that it's not so easy to fill each of the packets. The easiest way is to pull all of the packets out of the organizer and pre-open the zip top before you proceed with filling each with the pills. Otherwise, you'll have to pull the pocket, unzip, add pill and proceed, which is a lot more work. All zip tops are nice and secure and pretty much water proof. They aren't 100% water proof, I'm sure, but they'll with stand the occasion where a piece of luggage is left on the Tarmac in a down pour.
I'm very happy with this product. It's a purchase I'm glad I made, which is why I gave it 5 stars.

•   This was the best part of my trip! Since my trip was for 12 days, I just used one bag for each day putting all my pills for that day in one sleeve. It worked great, and I did not loose any pills or forget to take any as I could take the small plastic envelope with me in my purse for the day! Then I would turn the envelope backwards in the line up as I used them. Just a really great product!! And it fit in a much smaller space than lots of bottles, way to go!

We have 4 of these organizers and use them on a daily basis. The side seams on the pouches have begun to open and I have had to reinstall some zippers. Don't take me wrong here, I couldn't manage all these different medications without the organizer, it is the best, but a more durable pouch would be appreciated!!

•   This worked better than anything I have used before, i.e. pill boxes. But the usual problem is that I normally travel for at least two weeks and this only covers 8 days. Certainly you can double up in some of the packages as long as you remember that is what you have done.

•   These are great for all the reasons stated in other reviews. Just be careful if you are using them for certain types of pills such as vitamin E gel capsules, food-based multivitamin tablets, B vitamin tablets, or any pill containing oil or moisture. We found that these type of things tended to melt, get soft, or leak inside the plastic pouch, or tend to discolor it, especially if not kept at cool temperatures or left inside too long.

I was able to color coordinate since my inside storage containers are red and his black, it was perfect. They are light weight and I could carry them in my purse on the plane. •   This is my second travel pill organizer. This time Ibought the green one. I really like the color. It is great to have the individual numberd envelops. They fit in ones purse or pocket easily. They are not as visible as the plastic containers.
There are some improvements I would like to see in the product. The plasic envelops wear out sooner than I would like.
The replacement envelops do not have numbers.

•   Given the fact that Airlines are reducing the number of items that you may take aboard, how can one pack multiple medications. Prior to this organizer I had to carry 8 different meds which many look alike in either one bottle, or eight different ones.

This solved my problem. Also, it permitted me to separate those that are twice dailly.

I love the way the pill organizer is flat, even when full of pills, and is so easy to take in a carry-on without taking up so much room. Being able to remove the packets & take them to meals is terrific. I leave the zip lock open after taking the pills for easy access at a quick glance.

I put a full day's medication in each pouch in the organizer then in the extra pouches I divided up just the next day's medication into three separate pouches leaving my night time meds in the main organizer. •   I just received this travel pill organizer and have filled it with my pills for a 16 day trip. The plastic envelopes hold two days pills, so I have day/night pills for 16 days. Even filling the organizer with two sets of pills for the 16 day trip, it closed very securely and fit into my on-board travel bag. The organizer is well made and the plastic, zip-lock pill containers are made of heavy-duty plastic. This organizer is much easier to pack, than those plastic hard pill containers.

However, with recent increases in security hassles at check-in and immigration and customs checks at destinations, I have gone to another Magellan solution, the medicine case, because that allows me to carry meds in their original containers in carry-on luggage. •   Great concept. Suggest a redesign so that the red and blue tabs are oppisite. Meaning when you are looking at the red tabs right side up, the blue are upside down. And vice versa. This will better distribute the pills in the pack.

•   I guess that it has 8 slots on each side because it is symmetrical (equal) on both sides thus allowing from 1 up to 8 days of meds. If you take meds 4 times per day you could pack up to 4 days of meds per organizer. (Top row across being day 1, 2nd row across being day 2, etc.)

•   I just ordered and received three of these. I am about to embark on a 16-day trip. Actually, I will use only two by just re-organizing my pills into just morning and evening. The nice part is that the organizer has 16 labeled pouches that fit into labeled pockets, eight for AM (red), and eight for PM (blue). Each pouch can hold a lot of pills, even large ones like calcium and magnesium pills. I take about 30 pills daily, so each pouch has to hold about 15 pills. The pouches have zip-locs, and you can remove them (in fact, you must remove them in order to fill them with pills) and carry individual ones in your pocket or purse if you will be away from your hotel room. The only drawback for me was that with all the big pills that I take, I could not re-fold the organizer into fourths (you have to look at the picture to understand, but it's a bit like a road map that folds into fourths), but had to settle for halves, and then put each organizer into a gallon-sized zip-loc storage bag to keep it securely closed. I made the mistake of trying to force one organizer into fourths and wound up bursting a fish oil capsule in one of the PVC pouches (luckily, just one!, and it was washable), so I decided to settle for halves.
