The TSA 3-Dial Lock and Cable is a lightweight, 2-in-1 defense system that protects your luggage in the air and on the ground. This Travel Sentry® Certified lock, accepted by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), may be opened by airport security personnel using special tools, and then relocked after inspection (unlike regular luggage locks, which may be cut off). Use the lock alone or with the vinyl-coated steel cable that secures luggage to any stationary object in airports, train stations or hotel rooms. By Eagle Creek. Peace of mind...

• In two-star hotels, one can worry about the security of the locks. Not necessary if you have this! I used the lock alone on my suitcase when checked on the flight, and the cable in my hotel room to secure locked suitcase to something not easily movable. This lock was easy to use also, unlike the smaller ones. Don't bother with those...

Also Makes a Great Lightweight Ski & Bicycle Lock

• If you need a lightweight lock with adequate cable for both skiing & bicycling, this is it. Best used to prevent walkway daytime thefts while stopping for eating, restrooms etc. It's very lightweight, and fills the bill. -Not for situations in which you leave something for a longer time period where it might be subject to the use of a bolt-cutter. Best I've seen considering lack of bulk & weight.

• I used this on an overnight train in India. I looped it through my bags and around a steel fixture of my bunk. It was easy and quick and unobtrusive. A great deterrent!

Golf Club Security

• Here in a golf cart golf community, there have been a series of club thefts from the back of golf carts parked outside resturants, grocery store, etc. I purchased these locks and we now secure the clubs and golf bag to the cart. Keep in mind this only stops the opportunist theif.

Not your ordinary security item

• I needed a lock to secure a collapsible suitcase with wheels and handle. This proved difficult until I saw this lock and cable in your catalog. It proved to be the ideal answer to this situation.

• Excellent for hotels worlwide. Luggage can go missing from hotel rooms, so lock them together, and to a solid object. Makes it not so easy to remove for the casual thief. Highly recommend!
