This lightweight, easy-to-use security bar is constructed of high strength aluminum alloy, and acts as a bracing strut to prevent entry through most standard doors. Its patented slipresistant foot-pad grips all floor surfaces, including carpet, marble, clay, tile, wood and granite. And at just 22" long x 2" dia. folded, it fits easily in your suitcase. (15 oz)

- The Davie Bar is a tough deterrent against home invasion
- It is a portable, easily positioned security device designed to act as a bracing strut against a door
- It provides time for you to call for assistance in the event of an attempted break-in
- The U-shaped head fits any standard door knob or handle, and the foot pad material is highly slip resistant on most normal floor surfaces: carpet, marble, plastic or ceramic tile, wood, granite, and synthetic finishes
- Telescopic tubular construction is made from high strength
- Extruded aluminum alloy- adjustable - five increments of 1.5"
- Engineered to protect all standard doors whose knob or handle height is between 34" and 41.5"
- Once adjusted to door size, the keyway design locks the Davie Bar in place - it jams the door preventing unwanted opening by forming a 60 degrees angle with the floor and transferring pressure against the outside of the door downward towards the floor
- Fits into a standard suitcase

• My daughter in law has to travel alone on business occasionally and doesn't sleep well while away. The Davie-Bar was her favorite Christmas present this year as it will allow her to sleep without worry while traveling alone. It is well-made and should hold up well. It was a bit expensive, but worth the investment.
