I wanted to love it, I really did!

I have searched for months for a great, classy travel coat. My needs are: not too heavy, doesn't wrinkle, a color that doesn't show dirt, hidden hood, water repellant. I thought this coat was it! I was so excited. From the pictures in the catalog and on the website it looks a bit like a swing coat, somewhat full at the bottom. It wasn't. It was cut more straight up and down, felt and looked boxy on, not flattering at all. Also since I carry my travel coat in my tote bag, I'd hope it would have it's own "pouch" as this one does. I use my travel coat as a pillow on the airplane, keeping it in it's pouch. This one has a hard plastic disc in the bottom, which would make it difficult to fold and pack, whether in a suitcase or tote, and impossible to use as a flight pillow. Why in the world did someone see a need for that? Anyway. I returned the coat, much to my sorrow. Had the cut been a bit fuller and the bag been all fabric, it would've been my dream travel coat!

Fabulous raincoat

I bought this raincoat for travel to Ireland 3 years ago. Much to my surprise, it became a staple at home as well - lightweight, adapts to casual or business attire. Lost it recently and am delighted to be able to get a replacement.

Great!

Love this coat! It looks very smart and zips all the way up so you don't need a scarf (less to carry on those iffy days...). Wish it were cut just an inch or two wider at the hem but it still fits well. No drawstring on the hood but it tucks away so easily with no bulk. Great tote--sorry I left it home on my recent trip. It would have been just right to carry the coat and slip the handles through my shoulder bag strap.

Great Coat

Fits well and gives me the option of 2 colors in one. Well constructed and the right length. Great Coat!
