Yeah $150 isn't cheap but it's cheaper than Gortex, and this jacket is ultra light, packs into a fist-sized space in my bag, and keeps me completely dry! The specially treated nylon fabric is soft and compliant, and the pockets are as close to water repellent as I've found, so i can keep my iPhone and camera in them and not worry about getting water damaged. This jacket and pants are perfect for wet weather travel abroad.
