I just bought the packable Windbreaker by Scottevest which I bought for its many pockets and light weight. I'm a long time customer and I'm, as usual, very pleased. It's especially difficult for men to find jackets with enough pockets. I also have your waterproof Travel jacket with it's many pockets and I wear it every day. Your Customer Service is excellent.
What a packable jacket should be

When I started looking for a lightweight jacket that was rainproof, I looked at several in stores. Royal Robin was ok, but the hood in the collar didn't roll and stow well. Northface had the hood problem, few pockets, not packable and very overpriced. Having heard good things about Scottvest, I ordered this. It is great! Just what a lightweight jacket should be, and it even packs into it's own pouch! Lots of pockets, a decent collar, and great price. Order up a size up.
My son loved it

Well, I thought that this would be the first item I ever returned - but my son came home, tried it on, emptied his pockets of all his gadgets, put them all in the jacket, and asked if I had bought it for him. He loved it. He lives in a city and takes the C-Train to work and with this jacket all his "stuff" is safely hidden. It fits him well, looks good. Warm enough to walk half an hour at night, AND water proof. Light weight too. Awesome indeed. Glad that I procrastinated in returning it. :-)
Great Travel Gear

This jacket is awesome. It's like Christmas every time I put it on and find a new pocket. Size is a little small/cut trim so you may want to go up a size from your normal, especially if you plan to load up the pockets. I bought this before a trip to Poland that forced me to travel on Ryan Air. This was like having a second carry-on; great for going through security too. Make it in Gortex and I'm really sold

Best Shopping Aid

I love to shop wherever I'm traveling, and lugging a purse is such a drag...literally ! I just put on this jacket, with enough pockets to hide all my credit cards, plus my Passport and cell phone, and I'm free to shop 'til I drop ! Also, there's room to stow a small umbrella, so I can keep on shopping even in the rain. This is a wonderful product.
Convenient, light weight, versatile

This jacket has taken me on a three week visit to very varied climates and performed perfectly. With all the pockets, I sometimes had to search for the right one to find what I wanted, but I knew it was there someplace! In the hot climate I could roll it up very small into its pocket and take it along, and in the cooler weather places it was just what I needed. It went through a number of airport checks with ease and spared me a bulky carryon tote bag. It kept off the sea breeze at night.

What a jacket!

Recently purchased this for summer business trips to eastern Europe. Took me a while to find all the pockets, but this jacket has got it all covered. It certainly holds EVERYTHING, but I think the greatest feature is the earphone routing system-no more tangled earphones stuffed in a pocket only to emerge a rats' nest! No bulges, looks great, and packs like a charm. Maybe a little warm for hot summer weather, but that just means I'll have to get the vest!

I loved the pockets and construction but it was too small. I''d love to see some women's jackets that are built for women with curves .. it was tight in the hips.

I ordered a windbreaker for my daughter and for me. My son-in-law liked it so much that I had to order one more windbreaker. Everything the ad said about the windbreaker is true. It is light, has many wonderful pockets , it is extremely comfortable to wear while offering excellent protection.

This is the best windbreaker I have come across anywhere. It is feather light with with a hidden hood & multiple pockets for any items one might need. This fantastic feature eliminates the need to carry anything else and everything is secured by zippers or velcro without looking bulky. This is a perfect travel companion for any circumstance. I won't leave home without it !

Really, really lives up to its advertising. Stylish and comfortable to boot. There are so many handy, comfortable storage options - from itty-bitty items to bulky, weighty ones. You don't feel like you are transporting your necessities, rather they are just conveniently available when you need them without stressing. A great addition to the traveler's wardrobe.

The Scottevest Packable Windbreaker is a very functional garment that not only has plenty of pockets for holding your items (I can fit my iPad, iPod Touch, Digital Camera, Cellphone, and associated charging cords/plugs in it with no issue) it is also extremely comfortable to wear and, when not in use, can fold into itself for convenient storage.

Purchased this jacket for my trip to Greece. The weather in March is rainy and cool. The jacket kept me dry and warm without being bulky. It fits great. I was able to carry all my personal items in my jacket because of all the great pockets which made it great for safety and security while riding the bus, train and subway in Athens.

A very nice jackets with ingenious pockets; however, it could benefit with ventilation in the armpits and maybe on the back. I found my arms sweating after 30 minutes of biking. The sleeves became very wet.
Incompatible with Motorola Droid
By Susan K., OR
in April, 2010
I was intrigued when I first read about this jacket - until I came to the warning about magnetic closures making it potentially incompatible with an implanted pacemaker. When I bought my Motorola Droid smartphone I was warned that I must never put it near anything magnetic or it might crash. I don't know if other smartphones would also be vulnerable - owners may want to check prior to purchasing this.

An innovative jacket..., it's the equivalent of a carry-on bag you wear. Instead of removing all your electronic devices at security and turning them on and off, just put the jacket through the x-ray machine.
