Product seems great. I haven't used it for travelling yet, but I tested it out and really saved quite a bit of space.

Easy to use & convenient travel bags

They definitely squeezed a lot of different kinds of clothes into a small area - the wrinkles weren't as bad as I would have imagined. The middle size is the most convenient if you want to avoid checking bags on flights and just have a carry on for shorter trips. The only issue I saw is the locking mechanism, tab zipper, tends to fall off when you go to seal the bag (it goes back on easily but the problem would be if you lost the yellow zipper),

Great option for packing purchases

I've had versions of these bags in the past that I wasn't very happy with, but I was going to India and knew I'd be buying textiles - so I got a few sets to pack purchases.
I used the space bags to compress, organize and keep items safe from water. Bags worked fine and friends couldn't believe that I fit everything in one 'fold-up suitcase'.
After arriving home, everything was in great shape.
Also probably prevent theft - since items aren't easy to id and you'd have to uncompress to take items.

Works as advertised, but not as easily as shown.

You have to keep compressing, re-rolling, re-squeezing the air out. It takes awhile but it gets the job done.. I'd just rather have a vacumn attachment to suck all the air out.

This did compress my fleece very well - but on the down side, you now had a very rigid package to fit into your case.

My husband and I (unknowingly) bought each other compression bags (from different companies) as gifts. We just got home from our trip and LOVED the bags from Magellan's. The other bags were from LL Bean - I love their products as well, but their compression bags were definitely not up to par with that of the Magellan's. These are highly recommended!

These bags are excellent. I am going to be traveling in the tropics (Galapagos) and in the Amazon. These bags will not only allow me to save space but keep my stuff dry too. I have already tested them & I am impressed.

Today, I am helping my son pack for a 4 week camping trip. He loves the Pack-it bags. We had to throw out a couple of bags from one of their competitors, due to rips etc. These bags are reinforced heavy duty plastic. Even the zippers work better! I really wish I had a few more for him!
