Ergonomic Mini Scale lets you see the weight of your bag after you put it down.
This clever digital scale temporarily stores your bag's weight in its memory so you can read the weight after putting it down. It also has a back-lit screen with pound/kilogram digital display, large buttons, ergonomic handle, 100 lb/44kg weight capacity, and webbed nylon strap that attaches to any luggage. (4¾ x 1¾ x ¾"; 3 oz)
Note: The Balanzza Digital Luggage Scale Mini has a special battery operation. In order for the scale to function – BOTH BATTERIES (there are 2) must be placed underneath the tiny metal tab of the battery area. IF they are not placed underneath and the top closed properly, the scale will not work.

• I haven't used this yet on a trip, but have tried it at home and know I'll love it. It is to replace an analog scale I've used for several years, which has a cracked face. On a trip to Bhutan with low weight limits for both checked and carry-on, several members of our group borrowed my old one and vowed to buy their own before the next trip.

• This is a great little gadget -- small enough to take with me on overseas trips. It also registers the weight fairly soon; my old one (which died) took a long time to beep, and since I have back problems I can't hold my bag off the floor for long. This one is perfect for me!

• Easy to use but not easy to undo the clip... In fact quite difficult if you've no strength in hands/fingers but it's accurate and really a great travel accessory.

• Love the size/portability of this. Also the ease of use. Jury is still out on how long it will work; the last we ordered from Magellan "died" sooner than we thought it should. So far, real good. Lovely bright easy to read monitor.

• The Balanzza mini is easy to use, and weighs accurately in either kilo or pounds. it is also light weight so does not add extra weight to the luggage (which is limited on airlines these days.). Excellent product.

• Love the convenience of having a scale weigh the case and hold the number when the case is set down - so much easier to read. On the down side - the scale is weighing lighter than the airport scales are. A pound can mean the difference between paying a $70 penalty or not! We were not happy to pack to just under the limit and find when at the airport we had more weight than the scale was telling us. Will use but in future not trust it for accuracy but will pack a pound or two lighter.

• This is the lightest scale that I have used, so i can pack it in luggage. I am very gald to see it is available on Magellan's site now. It's very easy to use and you can see the digits easily.

• Very well done. The ability to read the weight after putting the bag down is an excellent feature. Also the use of a strain gauge instead of a spring gives more accurate readings at the upper and lower limits of the weight range.
