  Perfect in your carry on
By Inge S., CA in September, 2009

•   This is a perfect addition to my carry on luggage! Just pull it out after your unexpected shopping spree at the airport and you are ready to go!Sturdy and comfortable on my back.

  good quality

•   We bought this to pack our souvenirs in- very easy to throw in a suitcase and instantly you have an extra bag- convenient! Packs really tiny, yet very roomy!

Can take this anywhere, lightweight and great!
By Marilyn M., CA in March, 2009

•   I have used this backpack for short hikes in Australia and it's great. Lightweight so it doesn't seem like a burden to carry, and holds a lot! I also use it for local weekend getaways and to attend the grandkids' football and baseball games. It will go to Alaska with me in a few months. I'm getting another one for my travel mate. Would recommend this highly.

  Water/Weight /Distribution
By Peggy B., TX in March, 2009

•   I would use this product more with wider straps to distribute weight. As is, doesn't work with any heavy items(field guides/food). I would pay a couple of bucks more for 2 water bottle net sleeves
Love packability

  Ripped at the seems
By Deb T., MA in December, 2008

•   I bought this for a trip I took back in July. I used it the day I left and by the next day the bag had ripped at the seams. It was really coming apart. I had to go somewhere else to get something to use as I had planning on using this for my 10 day vacation. I called when I got back and they sent me a return envelope, had no problem returning it but I would not recommend it as the seams don't seem to hold up very well.

  great for day trips
By Peggy P., NM in November, 2008

•   I carry this in my bigger bag and then am ready to leave it behind for smaller day trips. Love the water bottle holder.

•   Turned out to be just the thing for several applications: as a carry-on bag (I hung it from my rolling suitcase by the loop until I checked my suitcase, then carried it around as a backpack); used as day pack when my purse was not sufficient. Straps were surprisingly comfortable given the minimal construction. Used it in addition to my purse for shipping.

•   It is small and packable. It seems to be very strong. I am looking forward to using it.

•   Great light weight bag. Took it to Dalmatian coast trip and ended up using it constantly. My purse fit in it traveling home. Nice small coin bag included. I would love it in more colors but thinking about getting another. Straps could be shorter. Nice for water bottle. You can't go wrong with this handy backpack in your suitcase!

•   I bought the packable backpack to take on a trip. My husband bought one last year for our trip to Machu Picchu and the Galapagos, and found it very handy for day touring. It's big enough to hold a rain jacket and camera and other daily necessities. I decided I needed one for our upcoming trip to Egypt.

•   I love this bag, however I have had two of them. Both have come apart at the seams. If and when the manufacture gets it right i will buy another.

•   Was a great purchase. It holds everything and weighs nothing. My husband carried it everywhere and barely noticed he had it.

•   Haven't actually used it yet, but the size and weight are perfect to go light weight overseas for my day tours.

•   I really like the back pack. I took it to Montana with me and it was so handy! Then I could just pack in flat in the suitcase when ready to fly home.

•   My first backpack ripped at the seams for the lower zipper and the top of the full zipper on a cruise to Alaska. It was replaced very quickly and I didn't have to pay the return postage. This is a great company to deal with but unfortunately my second backpack also ripped on a trip to the DCI championships in Indiana. In both cases I did not have the backpack overloaded. It may just be a manufacturing flaw but I enjoyed the light feeling of it even after the rips.

•   Have had black one for years and loved it. Bought brick color and it ripped after a month. It was never overpacked. Eagle Creek resewed it in a sloppy manner and sent it back. Said they will send new one since I complained and waiting to get it.

•   I was so excited to come across the packable backpack in your catalogue! I purchased a similar one from another manufacturer many years ago and it's like an old, worn-out teddy bear it's gotten so much use. That manufacturer no longer makes this item, much to my surprise. I am so pleased that you have made this available! Thank you very much.

•   I just returned from a walking/hiking tour in Italy and found this backpack very convenient and comfortable. My one comment for improving it would be to add an additional side pocket so there would be pockets on each side. This would provide balance. When carrying a full water bottle, the pack would then be more comfortable.

•   I bought this backpack several months ago and like it very much. The *only* problem was that it didn't have a double zipper. Now it seems you have rectified that problem! I wish I could exchange it - but may just have to make do with your old one or buy a new one and give away the old one to someone else. A new customer on this product won't have to worry.

•   It's amazing how this little bag holds so much! It's wonderful to take as a carry-on bag as well as a daytripping pack when you finally want to explore--and the water bottle holder is very handy. I'm really happy I found this bag!

•   I took this backpack with me to the Outback in Australia. I hiked with it and found it very comfortable and extremely lightweight. It held so much stuff! And the water bottle holder on the side was very convenient. The weather was warm, but the backpack was made of a material that didn't overheat me. I am a senior citizen, and was worried it would be uncomfortable, but was very pleasantly surprised! I would recommend this to anyone needing a lightweight daypack. It folds up so small and fits neatly into its own zippered carry case.
