This is a great product! We used this on a recent trip to Mexico. It was especially useful when packing to come home. Our friends used it, and found that they needed to redistribute the weight in their two pieces of luggage.

Great item for making sure your bags are within the weightlimit. It has saved me from overweight baggage fees several times. I don't recommend packing this in your carry on as I was pulled aside once because they thought the scales spring looked like a corkscrew.
Works well. Bag weighted the same at the airport as it did at home.

I travel to S.A. and on several occations in the middle of the airport I have had to take out from one bag to put in the other bag so that I would not have to pay the extra charges. Since getting the luggage scale everything has been perfect. We use every pound we are entitle to without going over. Several people have asked me to order one for them. We love it.
OK for lighter weight luggage, but at 60 or so pounds hurts the fingers.
With weight restrictions on both checked and carry-on luggage varying between airlines and differing between domestic and international travel, this handy device has become one of my travel essentials. It's handy to use and fits easily into an exterior pocket on my luggage for quick measurements. I never leave home without it.
I think this is great. The padding on the handle helps. Just remember airlines both donestic and international have a 50 lb. limit per bag.
I am so relieved to have this scale. We have a trip that involves packing and unpacking multiple times and I feel confident there won't be any suprise overweight charges. Thank you for offering this scale.
Invaluable! Purchased for trip to Europe and it was a necessary & handy tool both ways!
This scale is ESSENTIAL! Weight restrictions vary between airlines, and may vary for domestic vs international flights on the same airline. This weight only matters when you check in your luggage (ie: if you check in 70lb in Italy, you won't get charged extra by the domestic carrier from JFK to ATL).
Indispensable! Bathroom scales are an option at home, but not on the road, packing in hotel rooms. Consistently accurate. It remains in my carry-on as an essential item.
best l0.00 investment we have ever made......the new restrictions ( on weight) of carry on luggage is also coming soon!!!!! thanx, candace cameron

This item works great. I am always pushing luggage limits, and this scale has saved me a lot of money. It's light weight itself, and fits easily in an exterior pocket. It's also interesting to see the variations in airline scales. they can be off by 3 or 4 pounds.
Great product - no batteries to die. Agree that over 60 lbs. is difficult to lift if you are a female that is under 4'10"
Recommend this highly - only 8 oz
I use this all the time and this has helped me tremendously.
Very useful scale. Since most limits are 50lbs this is easy to use.

Bought one and gave it to my husband for Christmas. We had family staying here during the holidays and when it was time for them to pack, it came in handy. One of their bags was way over the limit and they re-aranged things and got it under the limit. It will always go in my bag when I travel, to and from. What a great invention!

I have one of these and always take it with me when I fly. It's great--I'm never scrambling at the counter trying to redistribute weight in my checked luggage to avoid overweight charges anymore. I bought one for my sister-in-law (notorious overpacker) and she says it's the best gift I've ever given her!
The scale helps but it is not accurate, it weights minus 3 pounds, one suitcase I weighted 50 lbs even actually was 53 lbs at the airport. I am ready to order a electronic one.
The first time I used the scale, the black dial fell off. Had to glue it back on.
I did not find this item to be easy to use or consistent. It was difficult to hoist a suitcase weighing approximately 50 pounds up high enough to weigh it. I went back to using the bathroom scales again.
It works, but the numbers are small and hard to read. If your bag is large, you need two people to weigh it- one to hold bag/scale, and another to read it. I think the digital model would be handier.
Excellent idea, poorly made. Worked well for three suitcases. Then dial fell out on fourth. Now does not register weight correctly. Another made in China rip-off?
