I don't get it...

I thought it was horrible. It's really cheap memory foam with all give and no hold. I put it on and tried to fall asleep and my head literally drifted to my shoulder. The pillow just collapsed beneath the weight of my head. Oh, and that's after I had to over-tighten the thing because it's made for someone with a 25" neck. My chin kept falling through the gap instead of being held up by the pillow. Not worth it at all.

Excellent product. Allows you to support your neck while "reclining" upright. I tried the much cheaper inflatable version first, but didn't like it because choosing size is a problem that may require return and exchange, and also because you have to inflate and deflate it between each leg of flights, due to change in air pressure.

Most Sleep Ever

I just bought and used this Kollar for a 9 hour flight. It was the most sleep I have ever gotten on an airplane. The Komfort Kollar is perfection. It is very soft, perfectly shaped and adjustible for your neck size. I was comfortable, fell asleep quickly, and woke up without a stiff neck or shoulder. Wonderful product!

Better than others

I just flew to New York from LA on a red eye with the Komfort Kollar. I worked okay. I was a little disappointed that my chin fell between the cracks when I fell into a deep sleep causing my head to slump forward slightly. Believe me it's better than the blow ups and the $20 horse shoe pillows, but it needs to have more support up front.

Helps reduce neck pain at computer

I've finally decided to get neck surgery after avoiding it for seven years, but in the meantime - I bought this pillow six months ago to help support my neck while working at my computer, it works like nothing else I've tried, it helps reduce the pain from my poor dissolving cervical discs while typing away at the keyboard. Every little bit helps and this sure does.

This neck pillow is wonderful! I have used others which always allowed my neck to go too far to the side leaving me in pain when I awoke. The Komfort Kollar is wonderful, no pain even during long overseas flights!

A Disappointment at the price
By Ron R., NY

I found the Memory Foam Komfort Kollar a disappointment. I bought it for a recent trip to Korea thinking it would be great for the 14 hour flights each way. I found it too restrictive. I am a 5' 10" male with I believe a normal length neck and wear a 15.5" collar but I had to leave the Komfort Kollar unfastened or it came up under my chin tilting my head back. Also, I anticipated the memory foam would be similar to that of the pillow I use nightly. Unfortunately the foam memory is too short. That is if you lean forward slightly it immediately expands almost pushing your head forward. When you again recline you have to push to compress the foam to a comfortable position. After several hours of trying to find a working position with the collar I stored it under the seat ahead of me. Luckily the Korean Air seats have an adjustable head bolster and I was able to fold the sides in on the seat bolster to the point where my head didn't tilt too bad while sleeping.
My assessment is that the Komfort Kollar could be greatly improved by moving from the one-size-fits-all to several sizes and by changing to higher quality memory foam. Also, I think a greater radius to the collar cross section would eliminate the sharp corner that presses up under your chin.

It's soft alright

Starts off pretty good cause you're kinda awake but in full sleep it's less effective. But it does help against a complete crick in the neck.

I just returned from a very long flight to Germany and back to LA. Thanks to the Memory Foam Komfort Kollar I didn't suffer from the usual neck pain from trying to sleep on a plane. I also used it when we were on very early morning bus rides to other cities to nap. I will never travel with it.

I wish there were different sizes in this. It seems too big for my neck, and I'm an average sized woman. My head kept slumping to either side rather than staying upright. I'm going to try it again, but it's not as great as I heard

Fantastic product, by far the best travel neck pillow I have ever tried. I take overnight flights every week for business (in coach!) and this product is a lifesaver. Other neck pillows don't actually support your head, so unless you're at a window seat you still droop. This product keeps your head at a comfortable and even position. The memory foam and fabric are very plush and comfy, and the pillow scrunches down small inside my roll-on bag. Fellow travelers ask me about this all the time. H

I agree with the preceding comment. If you are a slender woman, this product will be too small for you. It is a great idea, but it needs to come in a smaller circumference.
