Do your children suffer from ear pain when you take off and land? The rapid changes in cabin pressure when you take off and land can cause a lot of pain when your ear passages aren't working as they should. EarPlanes can make your child's flight a whole lot more bearable. Just insert these comfortable, filtered plugs into your child's ears before the plane leaves the ground (they're made of comfortable, soft, silicone rubber on the outside, with exclusive CeramX™ filters inside). Reinsert before the plane begins its descent. The result? Relief from pressure-induced sinus pain and earache. Developed by a leading hearing institute and tested by U.S. Navy pilots, each pair of EarPlanes is good for one round-trip (two flights). For children 1-11 years. They take the pressure out of flying! 1 oz/pr

More Information:

Protect your children from ear pain when you take off and land? Insert comfortable EarPlanes into their ears before the plane leaves the ground and reinsert them before you begin your descent. The result? Relief from the pain brought on by rapid changes in cabin pressure.

Product Features:

  • Two pair of earplanes
  • Drug free, and recommended by doctors
  • Soft, silicone rubber on outside, with exclusive ceramx filters inside which regulate air pressure, reducing painful ear discomfort
  • Each pair is good for one round-trip
  • For children from 1 – 11 years
  • How it works:  the ceramic filters (tiny & porous) are embedded in each earplane. The filter slows the air flow through the ear canal.  This gives your ears a little extra time to adjust to the pressure changes in the cabin.

Related Travel Tip:

  • Chew Gum to Relieve Pressure
If you experience ear discomfort while you are flying, chewing gum can relieve the pressure.

  • Ear Infections
If your child is prone to ear infections, have them checked prior to travel, especially if you are flying.

  • Ear Pressure
If you suffer from ear pain when flying, there are special ear plugs that you insert before take-off and landing that will help equalize the air pressure in your ear drum. Do not use ordinary ear plugs for this problem!

  EarPlanes Make Flying Fun Again!
By Debra H., TX in April, 2010

•   I suffer from extreme inner ear pain when flying - especially when the plane is landing. I have even been hospitalized the day AFTER I flew, due to fluid buildup in my inner ear. I have used the EarPlanes several times now and I am a true testimonial that they work! I have no pain while landing, or discomfort afterwards. A GREAT product!

•   I love Ear Planes. Although i have had some ENT docs tell me they do not work, they have greatly relieved my pain on landing.

•   I have used childrens earplanes for many years now, and it is like heaven on earth. Before I was sitting crying and holding my fingers in the ears trying to ease the pain. Now I love flying. But I use them severel times and don't know why you have to change so often.

•   I used the "EarPlanes" on two recent transatlantic flights. The child size was perfect for my smaller adult ears. I believe they reduced my usual take-off and landing ear problems. On the flight over i had no problems and on the last leg of the flight back, my ears were popping but not painful, for about 2 hours after landing. The company says they are good for one flight. Next time I will use a new pair for each flight.

•   Being a petite person I find that these smaller (child) size earplanes work better for me than the larger adult size. They greatly reduce the inner ear pain I experience during landings. They also reduce the amount of time it takes for me to loose that plugged up feeling and hearing loss that comes from having an ear that's not adjusted to the surrounding air pressure. I even use Earplanes in the car to help with the discomfort of mountain driving, etc. Simpy put....they work.

•   EarPlanes are terrific. I have used them for several years and have never had ear problems. On one flight a little girl started screaming with pain, and I gave her mother a set of EarPlanes. The child stopped screaming immediately. That is real proof that EarPlanes work well. I highly recommend EarPlanes.
