  Butt saver
By Linda P., CA in May, 2012

•   I sit up straight to practice my cello. I am sitting directly on those "sit bones." The chair padding is not enough to let me sit comfortably for an hour or more. This cushion is the perfect "cello cushion." I love it.

  Didn't work
By Dee Ann F., CO in May, 2012

•   I bought two of these for airline travel. For me, it actually made my back hurt more than usual. For my husband, it didn't provide enough cushioning.

  Gel Seat
By Janice D., VA in March, 2012

•   I have severe spine issues which make it difficult for me to sit. I used my gel seat in Church and was able to sit the entire service. It really puts your pelvis and spine in proper alignment. I would recommend this seat to anyone who has back problems which worsen when sitting.

  Gift for my mother
By Mary L., NC in March, 2012

•   My mother always says anywhere she sits is uncomfortable so I saw your Gel cushion. She used it on a six hundred mile trip and loved it.

By Barbara A., CA in October, 2011

•   This cushion does the job! Relieves lower back pain from sitting. Car travel is much more enjoyable and reading on a long cool day is no longer painful.

  Too hard
By deborah s., CA in October, 2011

•   I was hopeful this would be the thing to cushion my butt all the way to europe but when I tried it out just at home-yuch. Seemed very hard and hit my thighs in a wierd place. Back it went with no questions asked though!

  Gel Seat Cushion
By Jan M., MN in September, 2011

•   I bought it several years ago when I was traveling to Israel. I knew I would be sitting on many 'rocks'. I use it all the time. I agree it is easy to carry--folds with a handle.
I'm on the web site to order one for a friend and another for myself.....I want one in each car.....right now I can't be without it! :)

  Save your Butt !
By Rob T., CT in September, 2011

•   Great Idea ! Lightweight, Folds up with a handle. I use a small clip for my carry on as it has a center handle you cant really see in the picture , and take it off when boarding. It really makes a difference on the long hauls. Feel less fatigued and legs feel better. Not SUPER CUSHY but just enough to even out uneven old airline seats especially in coach. Makes a funny hat too !

  Seat relief at last
By Rosemary H., NC in May, 2011

•   This cushion is amazingly small and lightweight, and really does ease the ache of sitting in daylong classes on hard chairs. I love it! My only complaint is the price -- pretty pricey!

  Comfort on the road.
By Franklin W., IL in May, 2011

•   I am very pleased with its comfort and ease to take from place to place. I carry it with me when traveling across town or country. If I am going to be sitting for a long period, I know thatI will be comfortable.

  Love it
By Colleen C., PA in May, 2011

•   I bought this for my Husband who has had back surgery and finds discomfort in pretty much every seat outside of our home. He loves it and takes it everywhere.

•   Compact and easy to pack and use on a plane or a hire car with hard seats, the unit will go a long way to make a long trip more comfortable.

  Discreet, lightweight and supportive
By Christopher S., NY in June, 2010

•   After just four years of sitting in an office chair, I developed severe ischial tuberosity pain. I tried countless seat cushions, changed office chairs, even used a memory foam cushion meant for wheelchairs...but nothing helped. I loathed traveling for my job as my accounts are all in Asia, which are anywhere from 14 to 20 hours away by flight. I was so relieved to discover the G-Seat Lite! It's a perfectly soft and supportive for long office days or extremely long trips, and is light and slim enough to carry comfortably in my laptop bag. It's discreet size allows me to carry it to restaurants, concerts and other events. Thank you Gelco!"

  AWESOME for Long Flights
By S. G., WI in April, 2010

•   I suffer from stenosis of the back and related nerve impingment. Recently, I had extensive spine surgery. I am finally close to being painfree, EXCEPT when traveling in the car or on an airplane. My physical therapist suggested sitting on something to suspend my tailbone to minimize pressure on my spine. I ordered the G-Seat from Magellan's and was thrilled! Not only did the G-Seat make the seating area comfy, but I was painfree on a 8 3/4 hr flight. I will always have this in my carry-on!

  Great product!
By L W., TX in January, 2010

•   I bought this gel seat cushion for my octogenarian Dad, who has used it as he traveled the world. Very comfortable, relieves pressure on your tailbone and legs. Highly recommend!

  Goodbye Back Pain!
By Allison T., WI in January, 2010

•   I received this as a gift and absolutely adore it. I have issues with my lower back that are easily aggravated by the wrong kind of seated position. I've used this cushion in cars and at my desk at work, as well as on a transatlantic flight. The seat (coupled with the First Class Sleeper) helped alleviate all back complaints on my last transatlantic. Highly recommend it!

  It's ok
By J L T., CA in December, 2009

•   It's a bit bulky to carry on and gets to feeling almost as hard as the seat after sitting on it for awhile. I, also, purchased the inflatable seat cushion and give that one 4+ for comfort and packing.

G-Seat Light - Gel Seat Cushion
By Carol B., MN in October, 2009

•   This is a great cushion for low back problems - I use mine on all airplane flights and it fits into my carryon. I use it for all auto travel and even use one on my favorite chair at home.

  Not what expected
By Nancy R., NH in October, 2009

•   I ordered the G-seat thinking it would be perfect to use on the many tours we take; however, I found that it was kind of bulky and heavy to carry so I have returned it.

Did wonders for my arthritic hip!
By Mary J., TX in September, 2009

•   I've been suffering with arthritis in my hip for the entire year and felt the long trip to Spain would present a problem. The ride was long, but the cushion made it 75% more comfortable. I loved it.

  Incredible Difference
By Christina H., MD in July, 2009

•   I purchased the G-Seat cushion on a recommendation from a work colleague. What a difference it made! After two 17-hour flights I can't image flying without it again.

The antidote for uncomfortable airplane seats
By Susan G., CA in July, 2009

•   I recently developed an inflamed tailbone after a long cross-country flight (sounds funny, but trust me, it's anything but!) As a remedy I initially tried a cheaper seat cushion purchased at Pep Boys, but it wasn't that comfortable. Decided to try the G-Seat Light after reading the glowing reviews. It has been fantastic. I use it at home and for plane travel. Took a bit of getting used to at first, but it did the trick in helping to alleviate the soreness. Worth every penny.

  G Seat Light
By Anonymous in July, 2009

•   This is the third G-seat that I've had. The first one (about 4-5 years ago was the best. Most comfortable.Thin and Light. The second one was too heavy and hard, the last one ordered recently is lighter but too firm to be comfortable.

  Excellent product
By I J., IL in May, 2009

•   I bought this gel seat and I take it whenever I travel. It makes those hard, usually poorly cushioned airline seats much more bearable for long flights. The only criticism I have is that this product should come with a small, thin case or cover because I often fold it in my travel bag, and it is a bit bulky when folded. Having a cover would allow me to access other things in my travel bag more easily. Other than that, I like the product.

  it works
By Anonymous in December, 2008

•   I can be seateh for hours and my back does not bother me at all.

By Anonymous in November, 2008
•   I really enjoy my gel seat cushion. Before I purchased the gel seat cushion, it was difficult for me to sit in the car for a 2 hour trip because traveling caused me to have lots of back and leg pain. When I used my gel seat cushion I have less pain and stiffness. We also do not need to stop as often for me to walk around when I use my gel seat cushion. I highly recommend this product.

•   I have lower back problems and a torn hamstring that aggravated by sitting too much at work. Was looking for this product to relieve the numbness and tingling caused by sitting. So far, it has provided a little relief but not as much as advertised.

By Hal B., OR in September, 2008
•   I purchased this product to use on the plane going to and from Europe. Although I have not yet begun my trip, my seat has been receiving constant use both at home and in the car. I use it whenever I am sitting! It has far exceeded my expectations!

By ROSALIND T., NC in September, 2008
•   I was very pleased with the gel cushion pad. It has helped to take the pressure off of the lower portion of the back. I can now sit for longer periods of time without any pain. This makes my plane and car trips more comfortable.

By Valerie R., NY in September, 2008
•   We travelled to Motorcycle races and I had to sit in the bleachers for two days. The Gel Seat was great, my husband and I fought over who was going to sit on it. I'll have to buy another for the next trip.

By Anonymous in September, 2008
•   I purchased the G-Seat Light to use at the gym on the recumbent bike. I have severe arthritis in my lower back and the bike is about the only aerobic exercise I can do. The G-Seat has made a world of difference! I have less pain during and after excercising. I also use it in my car and it is wonderful. About to take it on a trip to Italy and England. Considering purchasing a second one to keep in the car at all times.

•   Very disappointed. Does not give any support. Advertising in catalog is false.

By Anonymous in June, 2008
•   I purchased this cushion because I have encountered many brutally hard airplane seats and thought it could provide more comfort. Surprisingly it didn't seem to soften the journey much. The forward tilt may be good for your spine (not my issue), but it felt like I was sliding forward all the time.

By Barbara T., AZ
•   I will not take another long flight without this cushion! I had a 8 hour flight, followed by 5 hours more and survived! in the past, after this much time in an airline seat my tailbone would have been "screaming" at me, but the cushion made the long flight pain free. The cushion did have an odor for a few weeks: the odor dissipated after a few weeks out of the package.

•   This product is very useful. I used it after I fell during an ice skating accident and injured my bum. I highly recommend this product!!

•   I do a lot of work in coffee shops, and need a cushion for the hard chairs due to back surgery 12 years ago. This cushion is amazing. I can sit for several hours on the cushion on a hard chair, and get up and not feel sore or stiff at all. I highly recommend.

•   In my work I have to spend 12 to 20 hours a day for a week at a time at a printer where the chairs are not ergonomically designed. This pad prevents me from having ANY discomfort at all. It is absolutely AWESOME! Co-workers are envious and steal my seat. I tell them to spend the fifty bucks themselves to get their own pad. (Zack, you know I am talking about you.) Keep selling this item!

•   I purchased this because I have a broken tailbone. It didn't work for me since it doesn't have enough depth to relieve pressure on my tailbone.
