This replacement cartridge keeps your Katadyn® Exstream Replacement Cartridge filter working to keep out all sorts of water-borne nasties. Just attach it to the Exstream lid, and it's ready to go!The Exstream® Personal Water Purification System is the only no-hose, no pumping, personal purifier to be registered with the EPA. So now you can drink with confidence from any fresh water source in the world! Just fill the 26-oz bottle, insert the ViruStat® cartridge, and squeeze. Sediment and hard-to-kill protazoa (e.g., Giardia, Cryptosporidium) are filtered out; smaller bacteria and viruses are killed. You'll get up to 100 liters (200 refills) of clean, good-tasting drinking water without hoses, pumps or boiling before replacing the cartridge. About as trustworthy and convenient as it gets!
