• Just got back from Maui today and used this item all week.It it great,compact and works well.Some may feel it is a bit small in a larger male hand but it isn't awkward to use.Only irritation is finding the "sweet spot" to turn it off as the off button under the rubber cover does not correspond exactly to the "off" round dot.I bought some extra replacement heads.

• The toothbrush is a good travel size but the brush is bulky compared to the actual sonic and with the short handle it seems a bit awkward and takes some getting used to

• I bought one thinking that I could change the heads and share with my husband. The heads do not lend themselves to quick changing. But the toothbrushes do a much better job than a toothbrush without power. I bought a second toothbrush and like them more and more as the trips become longer.

• I used the Sonic Travel Toothbrush during a 5-week vacation this year and loved it. No quite as fantastic as the Sonicare toothbrush but comes close! Light-weight, easy to pack. I do have a hard time changing the brush head but that's a minor inconvenience. I have purchased several more for stocking stuffers for my travel companions.

• I like the size of this brush and thought it did a good job. The cap kept the brush too wet if you left it on, but I like having a cover on my toothbrush.

• My dentist has told me that I need to use an electronic toothbrush because plaque builds up quickly on my teeth. However, I travel a lot - close to 50% of the year. It's impractical for me to haul my Sonic Care toothbrush around especially because of the different voltages where I travel. This toothbrush has worked really well for the two weeks I've had it. I'm delighted with it. I had a little trouble turning it off at first but then realized that I just needed to push up a little higher

• I use a full size, non-travel Sonic toothbrush at home. This product does not work the same way. The travel version does not have a regular cycle of two minutes brush time. Also, the brush is much larger than the home versio. Having said that, I would buy this again, because it is much better than a regular toothbrush. Great size!

• Just got this Sonic Travel Toothbrush. Works exactly like the full size Sonic, which is a top rated toothbrush. It is not supposed to move back and forth. The vibration breaks up the tarter and plaque, just like it's big brother. It also does stay on while you use it if you push the button in far enough. There is a second button below the "on" button that shuts the toothbrush off. I love being able to have the function of a full sized Sonic toothbrush that is small enough to pack in my toiletry bag. And it is great that Magellan offers replacement heads as well.

Where do you buy replacement brushes?

• Nice idea but no indication of availability, cost, and source of replacement brushes. Once the two brushes included in the package are used, it may be a throwaway purchase which is disappointing. Magellan's should consider this need when it decides to carry products requiring replacement components.

• This is not a very useful tool. The brush does not move, but simply vibrates. Also, to keep it vibrating you have to keep pushing on the ON button, which is a bother. You cannot just turn it on and it stay on until you turn it off. I do NOT recommend this for travellers!
