• These, along with the Comply NR-10 earphone, do block a lot of airplane noise, but they can be a real pain to properly seat in the ear, and are inconvenient to remove when asked a question by the FA. Still, the compact size and good blocking make it worth carrying.

• I LOVE these earphones! They block out so much ambient noise that I can listen to music or audio books at a much lower volume. They allowed me to get many nights of sleep where I might otherwise have been awake for hours, like the night on a cross country train with a man whose snores were rocking the car, or the night in Bangkok with a party outside my hotel room until 4:00 a.m. They are great on a plane, I used them as earplugs during take-off and landings, the only problem was that the flight attendants kept asking me to turn off my electronic device, I had to keep the audio jack out to show that is wasn't plugged into anything.
I found that I have to replace the tips about every 30 days due to dirt and grime, but I use them a lot (everyday).
