• It should be noted that, on a wood floor and possibly other types, these slide back so that the alarm is not pushed down and does not go off. We solved the problem with a small patch of rug grip placed underneath, but would not have known until too late except by accident.

• In a rental apartment in Europe (even a good one) who knows who else has a key? I slept well with this! Tip: take out the batteries before packing, and pack it in the origial package to avoid TSA confusion.

• I use this alarm in my work travel. I keep it in my suitcase that is always packed and ready. It gives me a sense of security knowing its there and works so well. Since my first purchase, I've ordered 3 more that I have given to relatives who live alone as gifts. I feel this alarm may be the gift of a few seconds to dial 911 if there is an intruder.

• A definete must if you are staying at a hotel at an unknow location or at your travel destination. As you know even the cleaners have keys to access your room, well this is the best way to prevent it.

• The door stop worked perfectly .However it was a little sensitve to the vibrations from hotel construction. But it did what it was suppose to do and I will recommend it as well as use it again.
