  The Perfect Carry-on Bag
By Linda w., CA in December, 2008

•   I received this bag two days before leaving for a flight to JFK connecting to the Caribbean. I was able to stash all the stuff I needed during my flights (book, snacks, noise-reducing headphones, water bottle, TSA plastic bag of 3 oz toiletries, gum, pen, magazine and folding in-flight blanket), roll the bag easily around in the airport, and then stash it cmpletely under the seat in front of me. It even fit under aisle seats (on a 737, 767 and 777). This bag is great!

•   I purchased a 30 in rolling duffel in matching tomato and this piece is a perfect compliment to it. It is small and lightweight. I can't wait til my next flight.

•   It was very convenient to carry around during my trip to Spain recently. It was light and had enough padding that I felt comfortable with it.

•   I recently purchased this tote to replace my backpack for a trip. Not sure if I will keep it or not. The handle is particularly stubborn at times and refuses to fully extend. Also, the design of the carry handles get in the way. And, although its supposed to fit under the seat - its a tight fit and very cumbersome to access during flight. So cumbersone, in fact, that on the way home I offloaded what I thought I'd want in flight and placed it in the overhead bin.

•   This bag is absolutely wonderful. I cannot praise the design and engineering enough. It is so well designed for air travel . . . better than all the ones I have tried. There's not another bag that rolls better or is easier to handle both in security lines and in the airport. I highly recommend it.

•   Took this bag as carryon for the first time. Did not fit under the seat on one of the flights. Handle did not collapse down readily and kept hanging up. Did not stack on my other luggage and kept sliding. Overall, really annoying for my trip. The bag itself is nice and lightweight, but I will probably only use it for my office.

•   This bag is the BEST!! Sturdy, well-designed. Easy access to each pocket while in transit. Handle pops up/stows quickly when you want to swap from rolling to carrying. Rolls easily down the plane aisle. In my window seat i wedged it on the floor sideways under the window because it would not fit under the seat in front of me. i think it would in a non-window seat.

•   Exactly what I wanted. Being a petite woman, my shoulders were beginning to hurt from the weight of my big travel totes that I wanted to fit under the seat. I didn't need a shoulder strap; I wasn't inconvenienced by the handles that others thought were dragging.

•   I've tried a number of underseat totes. This was my "last ditch effort" to find one that actually fit under the seats, carried enough, and was easily rolled....and I found it to be the PERFECT choice, on all three counts. In addition, I've never had one that rolled so easily. Thank you!

•   Rolling this bag was effortless, it was almost fun. It truly glides. I didn't think the velcro on the handles were annoying, I just let them dangle when I used the telescoping handle, they did not drag on the ground. Next time I will pack my purse away in my main suitcase and use the front pocket on this tote, it is set up very nicely for organization of money, wallet, cards, cell phone and even my camera (small camera!). I am now going to rquest the matching 28 inch suitcase for my birthday, they are so light and easy to roll. The only negative was that the strap on the back was difficult to slide over the handle of my suitcase, hopefully it will fit the companion bag better. Also, in time it could loosen up so it would slide better.

•   Pros: Fits very well under airline seats. Very light. fits my laptop. Nice front pocket that opens wide but has side panels to prevent objects from falling out.
Cons: the top carry straps have a velcro grip to hold them together. this has to be pulled apart in order to extend the handle for rolling, but then the straps have to be reattached to prevent the one with the velcro handle from dragging on the ground. a little bit of an irritation when you are in a rush.
Neutral: would have been very nice if a sleeve were included for small notebook computers

•   I was disappointed with the back. The short handle must be looped over the telescoping handle BEFORE extending the telescoping handle. Otherwise the short strap dangles near your feet. I don't like to have to fuss with things like that. Also there is no shoulder strap.
