• Having purchased the Magellan's Sun Protection Wrap, which I used almost daily on a cruise to Hawaii and the South Pacific, I was pleased to see the shirt available in the same color (and on sale to boot) I didn't combine the pair but used one or the other on a recent Caribbean cruise and can attest that the sun protection does indeed work. I burn easily and used lotion on my face and hands, then put on the wrap or shirt, either of which kept me burn free.

• It was nice and soft, but it hung funny and that dangling tie was very annoying, I couldn't figure out what to do with it to make it look ok. The material was fairly thin and clung to my body, almost like what static electricity does to clothes in the winter (this was a summer day, not a dry winter day). So, back it went.

• Although this shirt offers good sun protection and has that nifty collar that gives you numerous looks, I sent it back because even though the fabric is a wicking material, it is too warm for the tropical summer trip I had it in mind for. I might have kept it for home use, but the color was unflattering. I wish it came in true (not pastel) colors.
