Magellan's design. Created especially for travel, we gave our soft Around the World Skirt a slimming A-line shape for ease of movement, a contoured waistband for a comfortable, flattering fit, and two hidden zippered security pockets at the hip to keep small valuables safe. It's the perfect alternative to pants whenever you want to add a touch of elegance.
Note: This garment runs large so if you are in between sizes we recommend sizing down one size.

• I was a little disappointed with the travel skirt. First of all, I didn't realize it would look like sweat pants material (sort of) although a little stiffer. It seems a little bulky and not quite as long as I would like. However, it is well-made. Might fit a different type of figure better (thinner person).

• This is a nice and very comfortable skirt. It is convenient having the little zip pocket on the side (I wish more skirts came with pockets) and it is a relatively flattering design even for a rather lumpy size 2X person such as myself. I do wish it were 3 to 4 inches longer. I am very long of leg and the skirt falls a couple of inches below the knee on me. I would prefer it to be mid calf.

• Most elastic waist skirts can be so unflattering -- this one has a nicely shaped, flat elastic waistband with a nice drape and fit to the skirt. I would say it runs true to size. The zipper pockets are handy so tickets and such do not slip out. I look forward to wearing this versatile skirt on my travels!

• I needed a long black skirt for Holiday wear, and this skirt fills the bill. It is good that it is pretty much care-free. The only complaint I have is that the length was a full inch shorter than advertised. It worked out OK, but I would have liked the extra inch.
