  Lightweight Travel Jacket
By Mike B., CT in March, 2012

•   Just returned from a pleasure trip to Spain. This jacket made going thru airport security a breeze. It managed all the electronics I generally travel with and helped keep travel documents organized. Even after crushing or balling up the jacket, wrinkles fell out of it. It's a great lightweight solution.

•   My husband is very pleased with this jacket/vest. It will be ideal for our travels - navigating airport security should be a lot less stressful by having everything in one place. It looks nice as a jacket or as a vest. It is true to size and is truly lightweight.

  Hubby loves it
By Charlene D., TX in January, 2012

•   Ihave the female versionof this jacket and took it with me to bermuda for Christmas week. Husband was very jealous as it was so handy - some days were quite war and others were cool. The ability to unzip those sleeves is perfect!!! So I bought one for him so he would stop crying!!! It worked and he loves it.

•   I ordered this jacket as a gift for my hubby. I LOVE it and think he will, too! Great quality and can hardly wait for his reaction as he has been looking for a convertible travel jacket with lots of pockets for some time.

•   It was good for someone else's purposes but too lightweight and flimsy for use as a regular traveling jacket. Needed some lining or body to the material. Workmanship was excellent.

  Great Purchase - Perfect "Vest"
By Alan B., GA in May, 2011

•   Wanted a travel vest and only had a couple of weeks to trip to Europe. Ordered this vest/jacket along with 3 others from 3 other companies. The rest went back (one almost 2x the price of this) and I kept this one and it was really perfect. Great for secure and comfortable travel with zippered pockets for wallet, passport, etc. Very secure. Although probably not designed for it, I also used it for carrying an extra dslr lens which, tho heavy, did not damage the pockets. Really great. Finally, being in France in May, the daytimes were warmish but the nights cooled off. So, just zip in the arms (really easy and quick) and voila', you have yourself a lightweight jacket for going out in the evening. I basically wore this thing constantly - except to sleep in - and can highly recommend it without reservation.

Terrific Vest (and Jacket), Perfect Solution
By Alan B., GA in May, 2011

•   I got this at the last minute before 2 week trip to France. Ordered vests from 2 other companies as well, one less expensive and the other much more expensive. This was the hands down winner. First it fit and looked good. Second, the zip out sleeves was the deciding factor. I initially was looking for a vest, but ordered this on a whim thinking the idea was a little dopey. However, the vest was perfect for travel with enough zippered pockets for security and, tho not specifically a photo vest, the velco pockets were big enough to carry around an extra lens for my DSLR. Then at night when it cooled off, that's right, zip in the arms and it's a great lightweight jacket and it really does look great. I ordered 2 sizes and sent the one that didn't fit back and Magellans was easy for the return. Only one suggestion for Magellans: WHEN YOU SEARCH THE SITE FOR "VESTS" OR "TRAVEL VESTS" this jacket does NOT appear. You'll only find it under "jackets" so lots of folks who would like this article will not even notice that you have it.

  Needs more pockets!
By Al V., UT in May, 2011

•   Only three interior pockets? Your Mens Essential jacket has 19-plus. Why not combine the best of both and offer a jacket with as many interior pockets as the Essentials, but the large exterior pockets of this jacket? My Essentials often doubles as my photo vest, and because I live in the remote Utah desert it also carries essentials such as a lighter, bandana, notebook, pens, etc.I won't buy this jacket because of its paucity of interior pockets.I'll buy the Essentials, though I wish it had more exterior pockets, simply because I need the extra pockets.A nice try with this jacket, but it could be improved with more interior pockets.
