  Nice travel clock
By Brian L., CT in August, 2010

•   The auto sensing backlight that stays on all night works great and the portable size but large screen makes this a great travel clock. Hotel clocks can be way too bright or hard to read by a second person on the other side of the bed. We bought 2 and no longer need the hotel clock.

•   It worked great. Hardest part was getting the back off for the Battery. A good light weight alarm clock.

  I can hear this alarm
By Conna H., KS in July, 2010

•   I have returned a number of travel alarms because I can't hear the alarm due to hearing loss. I can hear this one and am so happy to have found it. It's compact, easy to set and numbers are large...easy to see at night.

•   Great product! It is exactly what I wanted. The only one I could find where the light stays on and the brightness is just right. Lightweight and easy to use, also.

Easy to use; loud alarm; lightweight
By kathy r., AZ in June, 2010

•   No frills, but hits all the important needs. Settings are easy to figure out. It folds back into itself so the controls are protected for traveling. The alarm was loud enough to wake us. Has an iluminated face for easy reading during night. Numbers are pretty large, so eyeglass wearers may like it.

•   lovely little clock!

  clock is good
By Kathy W., IN in May, 2010

•   I find this alarm clock lightweight, easy to pack and fresh looking. The only problem I have is with the button that sllides to set and turn off the alarm. It does not line up so well with the lines which indicate time, alarm set. Also, it is very sensitive so that sometimes I think it is set and I have turned it off. Otherwise, very nice.

By Joan W., WA in May, 2010

•   Seems good. Have only tested it at home and I heard it. Bought it for its increasing sound level. DO NOT like having to struggle to get batteries in. That part is poorly designed. I like its size and weight.

Great for Seeing Time at Night without Glasses
By Merideth B., VA in May, 2010

•   I purchased this clock as a way to see the time at night without my glasses. It is easy to find the right button to press to illuminate the time, and the numbers are large enough for me. The clock itself is small enough, too. I put it under my pillow at night so I don't have to reach for it on the nightstand.

•   This is a great little clock, so light weight and compact, yet easy to read, even at night. The settings are easy to change and the alarm is accurate.

  Excellant
By Joleen J., KS in March, 2010

•   I love the alarm clock. We took it on a cruise, where there is VERY limited plug ins. It is the ONLY clock that I found that is lite up without having to push a button. As well as the size is awesome. I would encourage everyone to have one for traveling.

  Good, but could be better.
By Rick L., VA in March, 2010

•   After using my new Smart Lite Travel Alarm Clock for the first time, it performed well. It is conveniently portable with an optional light sensor to adapt properly to any lighting situation. My only disappointment was those tiny, little buttons and sliding selector. They were too small and therefore too difficult to operate easily. I almost needed a toothpick to set the clock. Please design larger buttons, and this will deserve the label: Best Travel Alarm Clock. Right now, it's only Good.

  Battery cover lid is stacked
By Anonymous in March, 2010

•   I remove the cover with a tiny knife and pry it open thus damaging the sides of the compartment . HOwever, it still works . I did not expect a battery inside which is dead; the brochure says battery not included.

  Great Travel Clock
By Sarah W., CA in February, 2010

•   I love this clock; it's small so travels well, and lights up on demand. In hotels, either the clock is on the wrong side of the bed or the numbers are so bright I have to turn it away from me. Now I have a great alternative!

Small clock solves big hotel problem
By Phillip L., AZ in February, 2010

•   Hotels have been upgrading their room alarm clocks to devices that play CDs, accommodate iPods, have dual wake times, and make a noise like a babbling brook to send you to sleep. The net result is that every time I check into a hotel I have to learn how to operate a new type of electronic device and it can be quite complicated, even if all you want to do is set the alarm to go off at 6 am. On a trip about a month ago, I guessed wrong on how to set the alarm, it didn't go off, and I woke up late for a meeting. That's when I decided I needed to pack my own alarm clock.

I bought the Smart Lite travel alarm, which is a digital clock, and the Mini-Time travel alarm, which is an analog clock. Why buy two? Because I need a loud alarm, something both clocks claimed to have, and I wanted to check for myself which was loud enough to wake me up every time (I don't want to miss any more meetings). After testing both to wake me up at home, the Smart Lite seemed the clear winner for having the loudest alarm. I have now used it on several business trips and it is the perfect solution to the hotel clock problem: I no longer have to spend 20 minutes figuring out how to set the hotel clock alarm.

The Smart Lite travel alarm has a 4-position slider switch for time set, alarm set, alarm on and alarm off; this is about as simple to use as an alarm clock gets. It is so small and lightweight that I've started carrying it on board the plane in my small briefcase - along with my reading glasses, magazine and snack - so I can check the amount of time before we land, since I don't wear a watch and the flight crews rarely make such announcements.

What about the other alarm clock I bought at the same time - the little square analog clock with the glow-in-the-dark numbers and a design that looks like it was made in the 1950's? I don't use it for travel, but it makes a perfect clock for my home office desk, and I love this clock's retro look.

  smart Lite Travel Alarm Clock
By Nancy C., TX in February, 2010

•   Small, compact, easy to set and use. Light works well and numbers easy to read. Will take little room in suitcase. The alarm is clearly heard. Not good if you do NOT want to wake the other person in the room.

  "Elder" Alarm Clock
By Carol L., IL in December, 2009

•   I'm 75, have "elder" eyesight, am electronically-challenged (!) and am taking an Antarctica cruise in 2 months. This little alarm clock has large numbers, is a cinch to set (including the alarm), and is even easy to re-set for new time zones. It's tiny, but can still stand upright on a bedside table and easily be read with its light (the light bar CAN be quickly found in the dark and turned on). This clock is EXACTLY what I was looking for, and it's going with me on every trip from now on!.

  Love This Clock!
By Lori B., CA in October, 2009

•   This has to be the best travel clock ever. The cover keeps it safe inside the luggage and the buttons from being pushed. When opened, it stands up nicely on the table and I love the automatic backlight feature. I don't have to turn on a light or push a button to see the time, and I can turn off the feature to save the battery. It's also loud enough to wake me up if I'm wearing earplugs in a noisy hotel! I've already given one as a gift.

  Great Concept, medicore performance
By James D., WI in September, 2009

•   I purchased two, one was DOA, which I returned. The other was troublesome. This is NOT a high quality product, one gets what one pays for. I very much wanted the clock lit function, in that regard it was mostly successful, and reliable. At times it would not respond to changes via the buttons, whereas later it would. I thought the brightness of the light, and size of the numbers, were fine (without my glasses), whereas my wife still could not read it without hers, even though it was nearest her.

  Great value-works as advertised.
By Lisa B., CA in August, 2009

•   I have bought more than 1 travel clock that said it would light up in the dark. This one does that without having to find a button to press and inadvertently setting the alarm to go off at 3am. Its small, light and the numbers are large enough to read. What a great product and excellent value!

  travel alarm
By Tami A., TX in August, 2009

•   Great buy! I love the fact that it has a cover so when I travel the buttons are not pushed. Keeps great time, but did not change time zones automatically which I thought it would.

  Smart Lite Travel Alarm
By Anita P., WI in July, 2009

•   The first one only displayed half the numerals, but it was replaced in just a couple days with no questions asked. It's easy to set,, but I won't know how well it functions till after July 29 I'm looking forward to using it.

  Works Well
By David D., CT in June, 2009

•   This is the perfect alarm clock for traveling. It keeps accurate time and the numbers are easy to read. The auto on lighted display is a great feature. I am in the process of buying more!Dave D. Bristol, CT

  Easy awakening
By Rose S., OH in June, 2009

•   The clock did its job every morning once I figured out that there are a.m. and p.m. settings on it. I like how lightweight it is, and the price was quite reasonable.

By matt s., CO in June, 2009

•   Small, easy to travel with. At one point in the trip the light up feature stopped working, I assumed the batteries were going low, but a few days later it started working again.

•   Finally a digital travel clock that stays illuminated. Small profile for easy travel.

Light & simple w/ a cheap sliding bar
By Carol L., WA in March, 2009

•   I like the light weight and small size and the rotating cover, but the bar to select modes tends to slide out of its track; there is too little space between the modes so it is difficult to select one; and the mark on the bar doesn't line up exactly with the marks indicating modes. I'm afraid this little piece of plastic is going to fall off! The battery cover is also very difficult to open; I had to ask a friend to open it. I almost sent it back.

•   It works well enough except the light is too dim. Possibly, your suppliers can eventually remedy this condition when they work on upgrades.Thank you, Leroy M. Rey

  Tiny, light, and smart
By Jennie F., CT in February, 2009

•   We bought this for our granddaughter and her soon-to-be husband for their honeymoon cruise. This is perfect to carry in your pocket or purse because its tiny and light. The numbers are easy to read and the fact that it lights automatically at night is a bonus. Having been on many cruises, we know there is no clock in the room and feel confident it will be put to good use. I only wish I had bought one for myself!

  great little alarm clock
By brett l., NY in January, 2009

•   Was looking for a small travel alarm clock. I cant telll you how perfect this clock is,for starters its case is connected to it so you cant lose the case. 2nd its pretty loud even for a deaf sleepers like me. and its really great option is when you switch to sensor mode at night the light stays on dim but definately enough to see it at nite, what else do need in alarm clock. I'lI use for my home now, and take it with me whenIi travel.

  A wonderful little clock
By  in January, 2009

•   This clock, used as a bedside timepiece, is terrific. The time is easy to read in the dark. My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the snooze alarm feature with one that would turn the alarm off once and for all, but leave the alarm already set for the next day.

  Great but be careful
By Anonymous in January, 2009

•   This clock has everything you need for travel. I like the screen lit at night and the controls covered for traveling. One thing I did not like is the fact it is so thin it falls over easily when you bump the night stand or bed frame.

Smart Lite Travel Alarm a good investment
By T. S. B., VA in November, 2008

•   Most important: operates as advertised. Further: An easy-to-use, economical travel alarm that does remain visible (if you set it to do so) throughout the night. It's self-cover is very convenient -- you just fold up and toss in your suitcase. Lacks some "bells" and "whistles" of other travel alarms, but its price is only 1/3 to 1/2 what you'd pay for them. This is an attractive, cost-effective choice.

By Laurel S., WA in October, 2008
•   After a long search, this alarm clock is perfect. It stays lit at night so you can see the time no matter how dark or disoriented you are. Absolutely perfect in every way.

By Carol F., MA in August, 2008
•   Just what we needed for traveling. Its' small, nice and light to pack, numbers easily read, simple to use, and loud enought to wake you.
