More involved than it's worth
By Brent T., MN

When it comes to a travel alarm clock, I don't like to have to think too much about it. I don't want to worry about power management, for example.
Also, I didn't find the backlight feature to work well. It was still hard to see the time in the dark.

I was very pleased with the looks of the clock, but purchased it for a relative for Christmas, they seemed to be very pleased.

Illumination at Night Too Dim
By William L., FL
in December, 2009
We ordered this travel clock because of the light sensor that is supposed to illuminate the time at night. This illumination was so dim in the first clock we received that we couldn't read the time without actually hitting the illumination button. We thought the light sensor was defective and asked for a replacement. Magellan's quickly sent us another clock, but the second clock had the same problem. It appears to be the way the clock works. We finally returned the clock for a refund.
