Silk Dreamsack Extra Wide

A must have if you travel to unknown hotels and motels here or abroad. I can slip into the dream sack for a good night's sleep knowing that I am between my own sheets and extra dream pillowcase. I never travel anywhere without them. After I return home - I throw it into the washer and dryer and repack it into my case for the next trip.... I won't leave home without it.

I purchased the larger sized sack to give me more room to turn over at night. I have had a single one for years and used it on our frequent trips... at home and overseas! I always have difficulty sleeping in unfamiliar beds, so found I sleep better when I know how my 'sheets' will feel every night! My only complaint is that I like to sleep with my feet out of the sheets and it is not open all the way down the side to do that. It washes well and dries quickly also.

Having extremely sensitive skin - I often travel with my own bedding and towels, etc. Traveling to Europe - made both space & weight an issue. This product was the PERFECT solution. Weighing only 7 ounces and packed in a small pouch -- this "cocoon" provided lots of coverage/protection without making me jetison other travel essentials. I got the extra wide since I tend to roll - and it was more than adequate. The only aspect I wish were different is that the pillow isn't as "secure" and had a tendency to slip out and come in contact with the hotel bedding - but that is a minor issue.

I like the width since I've got the original sleepsack that was made out of cottony material in the original width make turning and getting in and out a little awkward. The only drawback was that it was silk and it was clingy and staticy. The silk though made turning easier though.

Family gathering planned in NYC during the announcements of bedbugs. Ordered three for the tall son and tall husband and the shorter me. Did the job.And none of us felt as if we were enclosed in a tight sack, as there is no skimping on width or length..

I have now used this dreamsack on two trips, and find it extremely useful. Feels wonderful against the skin. Washes very well. I would like a bit more depth in the pillow slot, and longer opening on the side. Not being able to fling the sheet out but having to double the knees to get clear is an annoyance when one has to get up at night.

I sprayed my silk sack with Sawyer's premethrin (insect repellent) for a month-long trip to Africa. On a couple of occasions when the mosquito net was too dusty to use, I stayed in the sack and felt protected. It also provided cool coverage when it was too hot for PJs.

I travel often in Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia, staying in often grubby camps and places where the sheets that are given don't cover the whole mattress, leaving parts of the filthy mattress sticking out on both sides. I don't know how would have survived without the dreamsack! It's great to take with me everywhere I go, and know I can be inside my own clean sack.

I love the new extra wide dreamsack - I use it visiting my daughters so now they do not have to do laundry after I leave, and it's easy to turn over when you have silk under and above you!

I stay in hotels frequently for business and thought the Dreamsack would make a great addition to my travel supplies; especially since I have allergies and I never know about the bedding in the rooms. It feels wonderful, very light (which takes some getting used to). The only thing I find "off" about this product is the velcro closures. I don't "lock" myself into the sack and catch my skin or jammies on the gripper tape. Silk and gripper tape just isn't right

Have only used this once, so far. I was uncertain about the concept, but it was great and is so compact.

I just came back from a two week tour of England and Ireland involving many different hotels/B & Bs. I never had to worry about the cleanliness of the duvets while I slept. I was comfortable and confident that I could get a great night's sleep!

I bought one of these 2 years ago for my Marine son, after reading thatour guys were finding these invaluable. As it was said in another review, it can slipped into a sleeping bag, and when you literally have to sleep with your boots on, the easily washed, and air dryed bag is the only sure way to know that you'll be sleeping in clean comfort where the closest shower or washing machine is sometimes hundreds of miles away, (or feels like it is)

Excellent travel item. Packs very easily & light into it's own pouch. When on vacation, I love the idea of sliding into bed knowing that my sheets are clean , they are my own & smell like home. I am going to buy one for my niece who travels a lot with her college crew team.
