Did not live up to expectations

I bought this bag to serve as carry-on luggage for trips longer than 3 days and less than 2 weeks. I have a new job that involves a lot of travel, so I needed something that was durable and would be allowed as a carry on. I like the bag - it's spacious inside and the wheels roll easily. On the downside, the height is carry-on size, but because the width is bigger than normal, it's been called out by flight attendants as too big for carry-on size, and I've been forced to check it two times now. On one trip, the bag didn't make the flight, and when I got it back, TSA (or someone) broke the zipper on the top front pocket. The teeth are still there but the mechanism to zip and unzip it somehow broke off. For a bag this expensive, I would have expected it to be more sturdy. And on my most recent trip, the side got a dent (this was one of the trips when I had to check it). So, in short, I like the bag for the most part, but I am not 100% satisfied with it.
