Plug 'n Play Retractable Earphones

The sound is OK but as mentioned by other reviewers the product itself is rather heavy and the ear buds are very large. I got these for myself, niece & nephew --honestly none of us enjoy them. The concept is great but the execution is cumbersome. Especially when you can get extremely comfortable, versatile and much less expensive headsets.

Did not have room in carry on for Bose headphones and brought these retarctable earphones instead. Great on the plane, with the iPod by the pool, viewing downloads on iPad while sitting in hospital waiting rooms - comfortable fit and excellent sound quality.

I got this for my husband and he absolutely love it. No cords on the way. He plug it to his iphone . listen to the music during his morning walks every day. I will get 1 for myself too.

I got theses for air travel and they sound great and I hope,haven't used on plane, that they will be easy to pack away and retrieve on long flights without the hassel of wraping up, unwraping when you are eating or snacking etc. they do it well at home so I am sure they will be ok.

The concept is good - no more tangled ear buds because theyr'e retractable - but the retraction mechanism is heavy. They provide a clip for you to clip it to your clothing which does help but also restricts your motion somewhat. I'm going to use it a bit more before I decide whether to keep the second pair I bought.

The retractable part is great, but most earbuds now come with different size tips. This doesn't. The tips are too big to fit in my ear, so they keep falling out.

So far, the retracting mechanism seems to work and the sound quality is OK, but the gel ear buds don't stay on the ear piece. The gel bud frequently falls off, stays in my ear when I pull out the headset, or is easily rubbed off while in the case. Wouldn't be so bad if they weren't so hard to put on. I also find the split for the cord to be a little short.. I have had better fitting gel buds, and that makes for more noise canceling. Meets the need for saving the cord, but the gel bud thing is pretty annoying.

I keep my set next to me on the sofa so they are close at hand. I also bought a set for my daughter and a set for my cousin. They also both love them.

i bought these to keep by my sofa so that they would be handy when I wanted to listen to my book or some music. It's been great.

Exactly what I have been looking for. Better than any of the cord-helpers I have tried. Sometimes the ear phones do.t recede as quickly as I would like but it is a small thing.

A very nice and clever product. Perfect for someone who is traveling and does not want the hassle of untwisting knotted earphone wires. Makes using and ipod or mpe player a lot easier to use.

I use these at work to be able to concentrate and they are wonderful! They work as noise cancelling headphones and I have to put the volume as low as it will go. The only watch out is to turn on the music and adjust the volume before putting the headphones in your ears or you'll be sorry!

This is a very convenient attachment to my ipod..I'm ordering one for each of my teenage grandchildren. I wear my ipod while cooking and with the retractable earphones I dont have wires in my way. I love it!

Really easy to keep handy for use at any time. Love them!

My only regret with these is I should have bought more. No more tangled cords in my purse and it keeps my workstation tidy at work as well as home.

The retractable feature is great because I always get the cords tangled. This is especially helpful when flying because it's easy to put it away. However, the earpieces do not fit very well and didn't fit for my little niece at all. Usually, there are other earpieces that come with an item such as this.

I love the concept except that it took all of two weeks for the retractable earphones to not retract...it just won't rewind. If you use it daily, you might want to think about using another method like wrapping the earphone wires around your gizmo.

While they do retract, it takes a little messing to get the cord to pull back in. It also is harder than it should be to get the cord to pull out, either partially or all the way, and stay there. If you twist the cord it will stay if you don't move too much, but im sure that wear & tear will show soon. In spite of all of it though I will continue to use them on my flights...untill I find a better set.

This is a fine idea which could be executed better. The retractor works well to prevent annoying cable snarls and the cable is long enough to be used comfortably. The ear buds provide only average quality audio, maxing bass and distorting the rest. The small silicon buds will fit a variety of ears, but are not customizable and do not provide much noise isolation (from crying babies and airplane engine roar) like higher quality earbud sets. Overall, okay for the price.

these looked exactly like the picture and work great. i listen to talkeing tapes not music and for that purpose they work great.

I was looking for a nice, fairly inexpensive retractable-type of headphone and these seem to have potential. I have tried these for over a week and while they sound fine I have problem with the way they wear. The earpieces should have different rubber earpiece sizes. These do not do any noise reduction as I tried on an airplane. I like the way the bottom jack does not move, but merely the ear point moves. Has a handy belt clip to keep unit in place.
