Made of slightly iridescent, water-repellent nylon with poly lining, it falls just below the knee, and folds into its own pouch for easy packing.

Couldn't be more pleased.

This raincoat is VERY light and packable. I bought it two years ago and took it on a trip to Switzerland, Netherlands and Italy last year. Fortunately, it didn't rain, so I didn't find out how good it was until THIS year when I went to France, and it rained 18 out of 21 days! I never thought it would keep me dry because it is so light. But I am here to say that it DOES keep out the rain, 100 %. I bought it a size larger than I normally would and it layered over my other clothes very comfortably. It also blocks wind, so even if it isn't raining, it would help with keeping you warm, if needed. In addition, because I am relatively short, the bottom of this raincoat hits me about mid calf, so that is even MORE protection. I recommend this raincoat to everyone!

Very Serviceable Raincoat

I took the raincoat to France recently and got lots of use from it! Paris was quite rainy! I liked the coat very well and overall I think it's a great coat. One thing I would have preferred in the coat: fuller body so that it buttoned up completely and covered my shoulder bag and camera. With those items over my shoulder or around my nect, the coat would only button up about half down the front. From the picture in the catalog I thought the coat was fuller than it turned out to be. Still, it a great coat.
