DisAppointing
By Judy K., Calgary, AB in October, 2012: Great idea BUT: rather large & heavy. 10X magnification seems like overkill; 5X more than adequate for most people (I am 64). Also feel it would be More useful to have the regular mirror on top as it is used more.
Nice mirror

Traveling in Style

A biit award to use lower mirror without setting it up on a book or something. Expenpensive but a good addition to your travel gear.
Don't waste your money.

The 10X magnification is way too strong and the light is not bright enough unless you are in front of a mirror. Zadro sells better mirrors but I guess this is what you get for a travel size. Mine is going back.

Good Enough
By Diane L., Vienna, VA in October, 2011: I agree with previous reviewers that this item is heavy, but not as heavy as what I used previously on trips--a plug-in lighted travel mirror. The light is not very bright, but if you are using it in a lighted room or near a lamp, it is good enough. The magnification is good--even for someone needing glasses for reading. Overall, it is a product I will use on every trip--you can't find magnifying mirrors in every hotel room.
Don't leave untill you have packed the folding travel mirror!

Very few hotels have a mirror close enough for you to see when you apply your makeup. You can use it anywhere which is convenient. I sat on the bed and applied my makeup with the lighted travel mirror which freed up the bathroom. Looking forward to my next trip to try it out again but the first time I used it I was very happy.
A little heavy but good quality.

Nice but not bright enough.
