Don't Waste Your $$$!!!

I bought this gauze top, thinking it looked cool for hot weather, with long sleeves to protect you from intense sun. There are so many things wrong here; where do I start?!! It's clearly not a top for travel! First, the tag itched, so I cut it off- wish I hadn't so I could send it back! Next, I washed it and hung it on a hanger to dry & it ended up with shoulder points- like a sweater! So I washed it again, and hung it on a soft shouldered hanger- no shoulder points, BUT: it came out VERY wrinkled in both dryings. Magellans must have ironed & ironed the model with spray starch to make it look as unwrinkled as the photo. Since it's 100% cotton, it would surely shrink in a dryer & even if you didn't mind the shrinking, who has access to a dryer all the time when traveling?!! When dry, it is STIFF and SCRATCHY, as well as WRINKLED. This is truly one of the worst tops I have ever bought...and it wasn't cheap, either! Sooooooooooo sorry I spent over $70 on this, with shipping- what a waste! I just paid my credit card bill with this on it- GRRRRR! Does your buying staff try out clothing items before before putting them in the catalog?! Do they wash an item and try to dry it in a hotel room & wear it the next day? Clearly Magellans has lost it's focus on traveling & travel ready clothes. Shame on you! Horrible, horrible shirt.

Love cotton gauze

I love all things cotton gauze for summer, and this shirt has an unusual style that lends itself to a dressier look. I ordered my usual XL size but it was WAY too big and long. I am exchanging it for a L which will hopefully work better. The quality of the shirt was good and the color was very accurate. I don't know if all Magellans clothes run large, but there should be a disclaimer about this item to save everyone the trouble of returning, etc.
