Good for all day

I bought this bag for a recent trip to Italy. I was concerned about pickpockets/slashers. Although I never felt threatened, the fact that I could clip the zippers together in the part holding my money and passport made me feel more secure. It took me a while to access so there is no way someone could get in without me knowing. The larger zippered section held everything else: comb, meds, hand sanitizer, scarf, lip gloss, mints, etc. Flat zippered section was good for easy access to my pen, notebook and map. Side pockets were great for travel umbrella and water bottle. Although it got a little heavy at times, the adjustable strap allowed me to change positions easily.

Great travel bag!

We just returned from three weeks in Europe and this bag was great! The secure closings and multiple pockets helped organize our "stuff" (camera, maps, guide book, first aid kit, water, cash and passports) and keep it safe. The bag is not overly large, but anything bigger would be too heavy to manage for a day's outings. I was really pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend to others.

Travel-ready for the day!

I have an earlier version of the PacSafe MetroSafe 200 and I have found it perfect for travel. I like a bag that holds everything I need for day outings while not being too bulky - whether that is climbing stairs to an exciting sight, walking cobblestone streets, or getting on and off the bus. This fills the bill for me - 1) credit card and money protection under the flap, 2) center pocket for my mid-size camera, lip balm and tissues, and 3) external pockets for two bottles of water (or umbrella). My only complaint has been that the sturdy strap can dig into the shoulder when the bag is loaded. I added a (separately purchased) wrap around strap pad intended for messenger bags on my last trip and now I am completely satisfied with carrying this bag every day. The bag isn't feminine or stylish, but that can be a benefit, since my husband doesn't mind if I hand it off to him.
