Zipper problems

I would second everything said by the previous reviewer. The coat seems well designed and well made except for the zipper which does not work well. Actually I find the extra large about right.

Good Jacket, zipper and size problems
By Daniel, santa fe, NM in July, 2013 -
Good, comfortable well-made garment with two significant flaws:
1) Many pockets, many zippers, hood stows in collar--excellent for travelling, which is my intent. However, the main zipper has a design flaw that makes it difficult to use. A flap extends all the way below the zipper tongue both inside and out, making it almost impossible to start without grabbing cloth in the zipper. It literally took me minutes to get it to zip up the first time, and then only after much observation and fiddling. A loose thread from the zipper stitching complicated the problem. A dab of glue to hold hold the cloth away from the tongue and trimming of the thread eventually fixed the problem, but this is unacceptable in a jacket in this price range. Has no one at Magellan's attempted to wear this garment?
2) Perhaps it is part of the obesitizing of America, but the Medium is significantly big, closer to a Large. I like the jacket, and I would send it back for exchange, but Medium is the smallest offered!
