It's soft alright
By Debra Z., TX in October, 2012
Starts off pretty good cause you're kinda awake but in full sleep it's less effective. But it does help against a complete crick in the neck.
The Best Yet
By Ernest P., Bridgeport, CT in May, 2012
I've been using this for about 5 years. I love it! They stopped putting it in their catalog and offered, what looked like a newer version. I tried the one that is currently in the catalog, I returned it the next day. Not even close to the comfort and support of this model. If you are looking for neck support and don't mind paying a little extra look no further....nothing is better.....yet!!!
Not just for travel!
By Roe L., Los Angeles, CA in January, 2012
I have arthritis in my neck due to a car accident that I had decades ago. This pillow keeps my neck in alignment (I had a tendency to lean forward) and allows me to read without pain. I bought several similar inflatable pillows but they all leaked after a short period of time - they expand during flight due to the change in cabin pressure and have to be adjusted, which can be annoying for you and your seat mates. I highly recommend the Memory Foam Komfort Kollar!
I had dreams on a plane!
By Saira A., Valley Stream, NY in August, 2011
I never EVER was actually able to get very far with stages of sleep. I now can fall asleep super quick on a plane and have dreams on all my flights...even the super short 2 hour flights. It's absolutely amazing and all the credit goes to this pillow [And excessive tiring traveling] I recommend it to all my friends and colleagues....and heard no complaints. I also never write reviews...but this time felt absolutely compelled to do so. I stand behind this 100% and am so happy that I purchased it!!! My neck can't thank me enough :)
The Memory Foam Komfort Kollar is the BEST!
By Susan S., Westford, MA in May, 2011
I fly cross country often for work and pleasure and the Komfort Kollar allows me to fall asleep without waking up with a sore neck. I also use it when driving long distances. I love it so much, I own two!

Ah stiff neck syndrome
By Tracey W., Atlanta, GA in March, 2011
I purchased this collar hoping it would help keep me from getting that stiff neck I get while reading in bed. It gets a bit too warm. I hoped it would support my head a bit better. I do not know if it is the design or what it's made of or the combination that keeps it from being perfect. It is however so much better than what I've used before. Guess the future will see the perfect neck support.
Memory Foam very restful
By LJ G., PA in February, 2011
I used this on a 14 hour flight, then a 15 hour flight (twice) and it does definitely provide help for the weight of the head and the angle of the neck. It is still very difficult to rest or sleep comfortably on a plane, but one should not purchase this to provide "magical" sleep. What it does do is prevent soreness and pain after one awakens from a sleep or a doze on a long flight. I bought it for this purpose and I think it is excellent under those circumstances. It is a bit warm, but this isp
great neck pillow
By Barbara P., St John's, ANTIGUA, IT in February, 2011
I love this neck pillow, I have bought myself a second one now in case they stop making them when my original eventually wears out. I have also bought them as gifts. They make it possible to sleep easily on planes or trains or in cars. Very comfortable. I love them

Necessary for long trips!
By Leslie P., Dayton, OH in May, 2010
My partner used this collar for a recent trip to/from Australia. This helped him sleep, all without the normal aches in the neck and shoulders. Anything that makes us less cranky is great!
I don't get it...
By Brent G., Los Angeles, CA in December, 2009
I thought it was horrible. It's really cheap memory foam with all give and no hold. I put it on and tried to fall asleep and my head literally drifted to my shoulder. The pillow just collapsed beneath the weight of my head. Oh, and that's after I had to over-tighten the thing because it's made for someone with a 25" neck. My chin kept falling through the gap instead of being held up by the pillow. Not worth it at all.
KomfortKollar (Memory foam version)
By Richard C., Anchorage, AK in September, 2009
Excellent product. Allows you to support your neck while "reclining" upright. I tried the much cheaper inflatable version first, but didn't like it because choosing size is a problem that may require return and exchange, and also because you have to inflate and deflate it between each leg of flights, due to change in air pressure.
Most Sleep Ever
By Linda G., Bear, DE in August, 2009
I just bought and used this Kollar for a 9 hour flight. It was the most sleep I have ever gotten on an airplane. The Komfort Kollar is perfection. It is very soft, perfectly shaped and adjustible for your neck size. I was comfortable, fell asleep quickly, and woke up without a stiff neck or shoulder. Wonderful product!

The best travel pillow ever!

Definitely the best travel pillow ever! My girlfriend keeps stealing it from me. I will have to buy one for her too.
Better than others
By Don M., Laguna Niguel, CA in May, 2009
I just flew to New York from LA on a red eye with the Komfort Kollar. I worked okay. I was a little disappointed that my chin fell between the cracks when I fell into a deep sleep causing my head to slump forward slightly. Believe me it's better than the blow ups and the $20 horse shoe pillows, but it needs to have more support up front.
Love it!
By Jacqueline C., Orlando, FL in December, 2008
This neck pillow is wonderful! I have used others which always allowed my neck to go too far to the side leaving me in pain when I awoke. The Komfort Kollar is wonderful, no pain even during long overseas flights!
Helps reduce neck pain at computer
By Cindy L., Takoma Park, FM in December, 2008
I've finally decided to get neck surgery after avoiding it for seven years, but in the meantime - I bought this pillow six months ago to help support my neck while working at my computer, it works like nothing else I've tried, it helps reduce the pain from my poor dissolving cervical discs while typing away at the keyboard. Every little bit helps and this sure does.
A Disappointment at the price
By Ron R., NY in November, 2008
I found the Memory Foam Komfort Kollar a disappointment. I bought it for a recent trip to Korea thinking it would be great for the 14 hour flights each way. I found it too restrictive. I am a 5' 10" male with I believe a normal length neck and wear a 15.5" collar but I had to leave the Komfort Kollar unfastened or it came up under my chin tilting my head back. Also, I anticipated the memory foam would be similar to that of the pillow I use nightly. Unfortunately the foam memory is too short. That is if you lean forward slightly it immediately expands almost pushing your head forward. When you again recline you have to push to compress the foam to a comfortable position. After several hours of trying to find a working position with the collar I stored it under the seat ahead of me. Luckily the Korean Air seats have an adjustable head bolster and I was able to fold the sides in on the seat bolster to the point where my head didn't tilt too bad while sleeping. My assessment is that the Komfort Kollar could be greatly improved by moving from the one-size-fits-all to several sizes and by changing to higher quality memory foam. Also, I think a greater radius to the collar cross section would eliminate the sharp corner that presses up under your chin.
