Purchased for an 11 day trip abroad hoping it would be easy to manage on planes, trains, Metro, Underground etc. It was great! In addition to ample clothing packed 4 pairs of shoes and while it was pretty stuffed every time that I thought I wouldn't be able to get one more thing in it I was wrong. And very light weight! In spite of all of the plane, metro, and train changes (sometimes I checked it, sometimes I didn't) when I got home it still looked like new. Stores fairly flat in my closet (or under a hotel bed in a small hotel room), I've already ordered additional pieces because I was so satisfied with this bag.

Great Idea. Lacks in execution
We purchased two of these bags. The stand/handle at the bottom of the bag is attached with pop rivets that, well...pop. We lost both on the first trip. One popped off going through the security scanner and was retrieved. The other popped off unnoticed while wheeling the bag through the airport. We requested a replacement handle and got a replacement bag. You guessed it. I gave a slight tug on the handle and it popped loose immediately. A quick trip to the hardware store for screws and nuts we now have two functioning bags. We recently returned from a trip to Cuba, Caymans, BVI and Puerto Rico all carry on. The light weight was wonderful for two late '60's adventurers to handle. The outside pocket is practically useless. It overlaps and is difficult to access. Since I am now into tricking out this bag, I may well take it to a shoe repair shop and have the flap cut open at the ends. That would solve the problem. If you buy one pull the handle off and reattach until they fix this problem.

Love, love, love it
Got this for an upcoming trip overseas but have used it twice for short trips -- it is functional, durable, gorgeous and I love that it folds down to a size that is easy to stow under a bed or in a corner of a closet.

used once and already showing wear
I love this suitcase. The flexible construction lets me pack a huge amount in this bag. It's also light enough for me to get in the overhead bins without a struggle and to carry if need be. It does not roll down all the aisles (recent delta flight). Also plastic area dented from first curb side checked trip. Glad I got the 2 wheeled since the 4 don't always fit in the overhead bins.
