I am at Walt Disney World right now and this bag is perfect. 'Nuff said.

I purchased the bag to take it on a 3 week trip to Peru. Great choice. The various pockets organized passport, camera, local currency, US currency, etc. The water bottle pocket is a bit small for most bottles, but I found one that fit and kept refilling. Comfortable to carry and good looking, as well as functional. Hope to take it on many future trips.

A great everyday purse. The assorted pockets make organizing easy, the "water bottle" pocket is perfect for sunglasses case, the front zip holds your phone for quick access, the flap pocket is great for lip balm and other quick access items like keys, plenty of room inside for wallet and assorted items. The purse itself is lightweight, so when you fill it up it is not too heavy. Cross body strap is great for hands free shopping and dog walking. And the anti-theft features are reassuring, although I hope to never need them. After years of searching, I think I have found my forever daily purse!
(Posted on 6/30/12)
Where to start? Wish I had "listened" to the previous reviews which indicated the item was too small. I need to travel with 2 extra pairs of glasses -- sunglasses and reading glasses -- which requires 2 glasses cases that need to be safe from hard knocks. Add a wallet and a cell phone. This overloads the inner pockets, and I haven't added ID and passport. Some of these can go in the outer pockets, but I've already had to unzip the "extra room" zipper. Advertising that the long pocket will hold a bottle of water must be a joke. If I only needed to travel with ID, kleenex, and maybe a wallet this would be fine. If that's all you need, it'll work.

My daughters bought this bag for me as a gift as we were planning a 3 week trip to Europe and wanted something safe and secure. When I got the bag I loved it, perfect to fit a water bottle, secure compartments, and expandable. On our 4th day in Europe the main locking latch on the main compartment broke! I am very disappointed and would not recommend buying this if you plan in traveling abroad.

I ordered this purse specifically for our trip to France and loved it. My camera and iPad fit nicely in it. I liked the various pockets, especially the back pocket that I could keep securely against my body at all times. This probably won't be the purse I carry around on an everyday basis at home because I like more of a "fashion statement" purse for everyday use. Nevertheless, I love the purse for traveling and will get lots of use from it. What I'm wondering is whether the purse can be laundered (as in, hand washing). My purse got several stains and I haven't yet tried to get them out. Does anyone have experience with washing these purses or spotting them with some appropriate cleaner?

The design features of this bag are awesome. I liked that it has a dedicated water bottle holder, space for a camera, and lots of storage space, including outside zippers for documents. One thing it has that isn't clear from the picture is expandability--there is a zipper running around the outside that will allow you to carry more inside the purse if you need to. Here's the bad part: The handle is very stiff and doesn't hang right--it's got a slight curl to it and I'm not sure but it seems like it was attached wrong. The wire cable running through the handle is what is causing the issues, combined with the very stiff/heavy fabric. The water bottle holder part needs redesigning. It won't zip all the up for a small Dasani 20 oz water, which is okay since it just leaves the bottle cap exposed, but there is a mesh liner that gets caught in the zipper. Every time you want to grab that bottle for a drink you'll have to fuss with the zipper for about 3 or 4 minutes. Finally, I got the olive color, which just makes the bag look army -issue. If they fixed the water bottle pocket, and the handle, I'd keep the bag. I wish it came in better colors, like maybe a champagne color, or a lighter green. If you can past these issues, then I'd say this bag is practically bullet proof and NOBODY is taking it from you!

I purchased this Utility Bag for a trip to Seattle. It has a convenient place for everything! The compartment for a water bottle I used for storing my reading and sun glasses. I really liked that the zipper to the main compartment zips down the side, making it easy to get into. I felt secure as I didn't have to worry about my strap being cut. When I returned from my vacation I almost hated to go back to my regular purse. The only thing that would have been better about the bag is if it were leather.
(Posted on 5/31/12)
Really liked the access to all my travel documents and supplies this bag offered including the space for a water bottle. It is now my favorite bag for travel to anywhere...local and abroad,

There is much that I like about the VaultPro Max Utility Bag, but I do wish it were a little larger and that the top zipper opened up the bag more. It is limited by the strap. I wanted to carry a 9.25" by 7.25" notebook but, while I can get it in it sticks out at the top, somewhat defeating the security features. I'll be getting a smaller one but I really need the larger. Overall the bag is not large enough to carry anything more than the notebook, the RFID protected wallet and my camera. I wish it were a couple of inches larger in both dimensions so it could also take a small paperback and maybe a snack.

Before a recent trip to South America, I looked for a purse that would provide plenty of options for space, as well as security. I wanted a bag that could not be "slashed." The"vault-pro max utility bag" was perfect! It was small enough to wear comfortably across my chest (and even under a light jacket.) I was able to carry my Kindle, passport, water bottle (or umbrella), and miscellaneous items. Love it!
(Posted on 5/6/12)
I have used other travel bags and this one, Magellan's VaultPro Max Utility Bag has proven to be the best. It is comfortable to wear, even while sitting and dinning. The strap can be lengthened or shortened at a moments notice and the bag lies snugly against the body. I had to keep passports and important documents on me all the time and even my husband trusted that my bag was the safest place. I bought the olive green one, thinking that my husband wouldn't mind carrying it once in awhile. Although he didn't mind, it was so comfortable, I rarely gave it up.
(Posted on 5/5/12)
This bag looks nice and has a lot of nice nooks and crannies, but I had not realized it would be so difficult for to use. I have terrible arthritis with joint replacements and fused fingers and have a difficult time getting things out of this bag and a hard time with the "lock". I would have returned it, but I never bother doing that. I ordered from an old catalog and was disappointed the light blue color was discontinued.
(Posted on 5/3/12)
I bought this purse to travel, but have been using the purse for everyday use since then, I love the long front pocket that keeps my sunglasses always close to hand. My only request is that you please make a version in leather for those of us that like this purse well enough to use if every day.
(Posted on 4/28/12)
I was so glad to have this bag with me on my trip to Canada. I did not have to worry that I would forget it, or misplace it. I love the latch on the zipper too, I felt very secure in crowded places. I enjoyed my sightseeing without the distraction of too small of a purse or a huge bag; it was just right!
(Posted on 4/26/12)
I love the handy pockets, the way it crosses my body to ease shoulder tension; What I did not like is that the zipper of the main compartment came off in my hands. The shop I took it too fixed the zipper but now the purse doesn't hang from the strap as it did. Rats!
(Posted on 4/24/12)
Ce sac est super bien. En plus d'être super léger, il a une étonnante capacité de rangement. Je le recommande à 100%!
(Posted on 4/23/12)
I saw someone else with this bag and thought it would be great for travel. And it is. There is room in it for almost everything and the zipper expander makes it ideal. It's lightweight, secure, and has pockets that even I can't find. I love the security of the metal in the shoulder strap and across the front and back so that the slashers will be foiled. Good for international and domestic travel. Thanks for making it available.
(Posted on 3/22/12)
Love this bag. Great for everyday as well as travel. Minor problem with the small front pocket magnetic latch. Not strong enough. So I added velcro and it works great! Don't hesitate to buy this bag. Worth every penny.... er, dollars!
(Posted on 3/22/12)
post office damaged it so changed the order; would like to order it again since the bag I got had several problems and will be returned. Got VaultPro quick connect bag. Being a lefty, wanted it to sit on right side. You can put it there but it will not sit flat with the way the strap is attached to the bag. Put camera in back pocket and lining came out every time camera came out, annoying! Need to tack down lining. Front flap do not stay closed. Locking main compartment hard to access since had to use other hand, not dominate one.
(Posted on 3/18/12)
Love it much better organization than its predecessor. The combination of a light and the light colored interior is the best feature in my opinion
(Posted on 3/15/12)
Extremely well made. Zippers good quality. The water bottle slot is a little small. Overall it's a great bag if you want a slightly smaller bag.
(Posted on 3/15/12)
It is very well made and stylish....It could be just a bit bigger
(Posted on 3/12/12)
I was pleasantly surprised with the weight and look of this functional bag. I am going to Italy at the end of April and think it will be a versatile and very handy bag to take along.
(Posted on 3/8/12)
I ordered this bag before a three week trip to Asia. With a 30 hour flight each way and some amount of traveling around, I wanted something lightweight, secure, not overly large, and compartmented so I could find things quickly and easily. This bag is perfect! The snap pocket on the front held my camera and cell phone side by side for easy access. The water bottle pocket was also handy for my sunglasses if I did not want a beverage with me. I liked and actually used the caribiner to secure the bag on a couple of occasions. The bag fit easily inside my carryon while traversing the airports. If you want a large bag to carry everything, this is not it, but for what I wanted, I could not have made a better choice.

Haven't used purse yet, but shipping was $9.99 and state tax,
(Posted on 2/15/12)
I purchased this item for the water bottle feature, and the special security features. The water bottle feature is the only good thing about this bag. The bag is too small to hold even the barest necessities. Because it is so narrow, I have to empty it to get to anything on the bottom of the bag. The outside pockets are nice, but too small to be really useful. The slanted design makes the inside of the bag too small to hold even a small paperback book. I couldn't fit my ereader in the main pocket or the back pocket. If you only travel w/ a small wallet, a pack of tissues, and, of course, a water bottle, this might work. This is the only Magellan item I've ever disliked. It is unusable.
(Posted on 2/9/12)
I recently purchased this bag specifically for a trip to Ecuador and Peru. The size is good for me as I do not carry a large bag. I really liked the contour of the bag, as it fits the body well when worn across the body. The camera pocket snap closure was not a problem as I did not carry my camera there. I think the design has changed in the newer bags. The water bottle pocket wasn't large enough for my bottle, but I usually used it for my glasses. All the little zippered pockets were secure and the security closure of the main compartment was an added bonus. Several people on my tour were imprerssed with the security features.
(Posted on 2/7/12)
The purse is light weight and well organized and I feel my belongings are safe when I carry it.
(Posted on 2/3/12)
This bag is light weight and comfortable. I had bought it due to a shoulder problem with carrying a purse and wanted a bag that went across the body comfortably, which this bag does. It has plenty of pockets that are well designed for different sized items. In general, the zippers are of good qualilty, though one of the pockets on the inside has a zipper that is harder to use and I feel like is going to break if I'm not careful. I read that other reviewers did not like the magnetic close on one of the outside pockets. I'm finding that if I don't fill it completely, it seems to work fine.
(Posted on 2/2/12)
The first time I had bought this bag, I was impressed. IT lasted a good 3 years! The second time I purchased the same bag, it seemed it was a different material, the quality was not the same as the first.
(Posted on 1/12/12)
I bought this item as a Christmas present for my wife. She really likes it, especially the water bottle pocket. However, one of the zipper pulls already came off. I repaired it but was a bit disappointed it came off with very little use.
(Posted on 1/5/12)
Very easy to organize.
(Posted on 1/5/12)
One of the zippers broke after a short time. Still I am ordering another one because they are so handy and I am the eternal optimist.
(Posted on 1/5/12)
This bag does a nice job of helping you hold onto your stuff more securely during a trip. I also found that it washes well, after my husband and I spilled fruit juice on it. The clip for securing the main zipper is worth its weight in gold for keeping fingers out of your bag. There are two reasons why I didn't give it 4 stars: The strap keeps slipping off your shoulder. Also--and more seriously--the fabric loop securing the carabiner clip to the strap gave way on my 3rd day overseas. A friend found a shoemaker who punched a hole in the bag and secured the hole with a strong silver ring. This proved to be a much more durable solution.
(Posted on 12/27/11)
I found this bag to be very comfortable when full. The zipper for the main compartment goes all the way down on one side for easy access. I won't use the credit card slots in the main compartment because my full sized wallet fits inside the main compartment. The only downside to this bag for me is the front flap, it does not stay closed. The magnetic snap is very weak. I will be changing it to velcro and using that pocket for tissues or gum.
(Posted on 12/19/11)
I used this bag on trips to Europe and Florida and really liked the organization and security features. I would like to see this offered in a larger size for those of us who carry mid size cameras, etc.
(Posted on 12/18/11)
I just got back from spending a week in San Diego. I took this purse with me and loved how it carried all my different items in it: wallet, brush, smartphone, camera, eyeglasses, key, and small zip bag that holds: eyeglass cleaners, tea bags, cologne, small odds & ends. As I was viewing sites I locked the center part for safety. I love also how you can expand the purse to make it bigger and it doesn't tip over when you stand it up. It's water repellent too. The strap can be adjusted and you feel safe carrying it as the strap is safe as well! I loved the dark brown- great color.
(Posted on 12/8/11)
This bag works perfectly! I used it for my trip to London and Paris and I have no complaints! the water bottle pouch fit most of my water bottles and the bag itself was the perfect size for me. As previously written, the magnetic clasp in the front would be the easiest place to take stuff from (i had no problems), so I would definitely advise to put chapstick or tissues etc. The clasp on the zipper is a great litle addition. I'm going to Greece, Italy, and Turkey in the spring and Ireland for 3 months in the fall and I cannot wait to use this bag again! (i've been using it as my regular purse i love it so much). If you are unsure or debating between this bag or another one...stop thinking and buy this bag! You won't regret it =]
(Posted on 12/3/11)
This is a great bag. It fits nicely across my shoulders and easy to access everything. My only complaint is the small magnet pocket in the front. It does not stay closed all the time. You can't put really anything in it. I'm keeping the bag because after much research, it really is the best for my needs.
(Posted on 11/28/11)
I love the security features on this travel organizer handbag. The different compartments, including one for a water bottle, allow me to keep everything I need in a handy location. This handbag will get lots of use.
(Posted on 11/24/11)
Purse was perfect for a 2 1/2 week trip to several countries. The contrasting interior as well as the flashlight makes it easier to find things and the safety features were reassuring in areas where pickpockets were a threat. The outside section for a 16 oz. water bottle worked great and the magnetic closing pouch gave no trouble as long as I did not place too many items in it. Was very impressed with the phone customer service representative who took the time to get a water bottle from her office to make sure it accommodated the size I needed.
(Posted on 11/21/11)
I never knew there was a bag out there in the world that could fulfill all my travel needs. But there is! This is it. There is room for my water, my papers, my phone, wallet, makeup, personal technology, everything!! Zippers galore. An extra zip to pull to make it larger! This purse is everything I've been wanting for years. I'm so grateful to Magellans for creating this great bag! Also, it feels so light when you're wearing it.
(Posted on 11/16/11)
I used this as my purse as we took a 3-week tour of Italy, and it worked wonderfully. It has pockets in all the right places for all the little things I needed. I liked having it in front so I could keep an eye on it.
(Posted on 11/9/11)
I liked the design of this purse because it made it easy to organize everything that I brought with on the trip. I always knew where everything was and didn't have to dig for it. I especially liked the expansion feature and the water bottle compartment. I have dry mouth when I travel and I never felt clumpsy with the water bottle.
(Posted on 11/7/11)
Took this bag to Europe - it was lightweight and very convenient - big pocket on back for maps and other stuff you need to get to in a hurry. I found the ability to "unhook" the strap really convenient - I could hook an umbrella or small shopping bag through the strap so I could carry them "hands free". It held a full sized water bottle. I recommend the "black" for Europe so it fits in with the rest of the people walking around and isn't obvious. My only problem was that the front magnetic closure pocket kept popping open - couldn't use it for a camera or cell phone for fears of it falling out. Might want to use velcro or something more secure.
(Posted on 11/5/11)
I am currently in Turkey. This bag is too small, even with the zip expanded. The small pocket with the magnet closure does not stay closed. The zipper for the main compartment keeps splitting open. I have to carry two bags because this one is so small.
(Posted on 11/2/11)
I used a black one for our 2+week trip to Europe--water bottle fit well in the tall outside pouch and there were no worries if it sweat; water just sort of beaded off. Love the light color inside, and the flash light was a lifesaver looking at directions in the car after dark. I wore it primarily across my body-pretty comfortable even with a lot of stuff in there. Only 2 complaints, really: didn't care for the fabric (looked like a piece of luggage) and the pull on the outside pocket kept falling off--I can't really figure out why cuz it's a challenge to get it back on! Will definetely use it again for travel, but wouldn't be my "everyday" purse because of the look of the fabric.
(Posted on 10/29/11)
This bag just spent a month in Russia with me, and became my best travel friend. The bag is lightweight. The shoulder strap is wide so it doesn't dig in to my shoulder when fully loaded. I could carry a small bottle of water everywhere with me in the long zip pocket. The interior section has great little pouches for an iPod, phone or sunglasses, and a large zip pocket for my passport and wallet. The bag expands when an exterior zipper is undone. The back zip pocket was great for a guidebook, and other odds and sods. BUT THE FRONT SNAP POCKET WAS USELESS because the snap is a magnetic one, not a "real" snap closure. It was hard to keep it done up because it was so flimsy, and eventually one part of the closure fell off. I am going to see if the local shoemaker can replace the remaining magnetic closure with a functional snap that actually snaps shut. I hope that Magellans will fix this flaw in the next production of this bag. I would buy another if they do.
(Posted on 10/27/11)
I rec'd the teal one and am using before our European trip to get use to it and I love it - it will be my winter handbag. Love finding one that works for everyday also. It isn't too big consequently becoming too heavy. Love all the security features. The fact I can hook it to my shopping cart if I do not want to carry it really makes me happy. I'd love to see a thief try to drag off the purse and cart too. What a scene!!!! I do wish the magnetic snap on the front flap was stronger.
(Posted on 10/27/11)
2 week trip to Spain and I feel like this purse never lelft my body! It is not a fashion statement-looks like what it is, a travel purse. I have the black. The tall pocket had a water bottle in it all the time, the flap pocket fit the cell phone and the outside zipper carried receipts. Loved the light color inside, did help find stuff! The little flashlight was a god send on many occasions. passports lived in the large "back" pocket for the 2 weeks. I did need a "money" wallet-used a small zippered bag cause I needed to be able to pull out and find the right coinage and bills. Bag was comfortable to wear-esp after I played with the length and orientation of the strap-initally the metal clasp to adjust the length kept hitting on my collarbone. Will defientely use it next year when I go to Costa Rico.
(Posted on 10/16/11)
Used this purse on a recent trip to NYC. There was rain in the forecast so I brought my mini purse umbrella which fit the umbrella pocket with room to spare. I had room for the things I needed and I felt very secure knowing that I didn't have to worry about a "slash and grab". I would (and have) recommend this to anyone who wishes to travel with necessities without worrying.
(Posted on 10/15/11)
I travel extensively and found the Vault Bag 90% perfect. I need my wallet, cellphone, plane tickets etc readily available and found the exterior pockets were perfect. The problem is my 10" Galaxy tablet. The bag is advertised at 11" which I need for the tablet. BUT with the design thet lose 1" which makes the tablet extremely difficult to store. In fact I had to cut out the webbing on the lower zipper side to get the tablet to fit- especially when it is in its sleeve.Darn almost perfect so still looking.
(Posted on 10/7/11)
This is a "must have" for International travel. Several times during the trip I said "I love this bag". Always felt safe carrying the bag and it held everything needed for the day.
(Posted on 10/7/11)
This bag was a birthday present for my wife. She has not traveled with it yet but did like style. The undercut design to fit under the arm is good. The water bottle pocket will hold a standard water bottle size as we buy a recyclable one and reuse it through the trip. The bag appears spacious but actual use with tell the tale. I bought it for the security feature and easy carry style. We were not impressed with the magnetic clasp on the front pocket. A zippered or velcroed pocket would have been better.
(Posted on 10/7/11)
I love my bag. So many compartments. And they all zip so I do not need to worry about things falling out or my kids pulling things out!!
(Posted on 10/2/11)
I just returned from two weeks in Spain and this bag was the best I've ever had. It is very lightweight yet holds a lot, includiing a thick guide book. I was worried about shoulder discomfort while spending hours walking or in museums, but the weight was well distributed. I liked using the water bottle pocket for my glasses, as a previous user mentioned. There are many convenient pockets. The locking mechanism doesn't exactly lock--it is, rather, a lobster claw clasp. However, it would be difficult for a would-be pickpocket to open without my knowing it. I also ordered the MetroSafe 2000 bag, but returned it because it was too big, bulky, and heavy for my needs.
(Posted on 10/2/11)
I like the bag, well made, and I'm trying to pare down to the essentials. But the bag could be maybe 3-4" wider to accommodate a full-size, clutch-style wallet.
(Posted on 9/29/11)
It was a great piece of mind to have this slash proof bag as I traveled around Spain (Madrid and Toledo) by myself. It worked out wonderfully! You might want to improve the clasp on the front pocket as the magnet was really not very strong. I kept mints and gum here as if it got lost, it was not a big deal. I really liked the option to increase the depth of the bag as needed. Thanks for making such a nice product.
(Posted on 9/29/11)
It felt good to have this purse on our tour of France and Italy. So many in our group were concerned about pick pockets, I bought this purse specifically for this reason. The bag was easy to use and very convenient, I was always able to locate what I needed quickly and easily and at the same time feel really confident that I wasn't an easy target. It isn't a beautiful bag but it sure was great to have!
(Posted on 9/29/11)
It has everything you could want in a travel bag; comfort, security and light weight.. Too bad its not just a tad wider
(Posted on 9/23/11)
Excellent Product: light weight and well organized for foreign travel or domestic use in crowded situations such as public transit, fairs, and other venues that attract thieves.
(Posted on 9/22/11)
Just returned from a Baltic Cruise. My "Max Bag" was perfect for the entire cruise, including while we were on the ship. I had previously traveled with the Vault Pro Everyday bag and loved it, but wanted to have more room so ordered the Max bag....my camera fit perfectly in the front magnet pocket and was so accessible for those spur-of-the-moment photo ops. Everything I needed was easy to access and my valuables were always secured with the lock. This bag, packing cubes , and the folding packet for my meds were my favorite Magellan things this trip!
(Posted on 9/4/11)
Love the bag. It hold just exactly what I want while maintaining a small profile. Wonderful.
(Posted on 9/1/11)
I have only transferred my stuff into the new bag for about a week. I really do think I am going to love this bag. Lots of the right pockets. I like purses where things stay where I put them instead of everything falling to the bottom. This gives me that luxury.
(Posted on 8/25/11)
After having tickets stolen from an insecure purse, I set about to find a safe travel bag and someone suggested your company. This bag is just perfect for all travel needs and there is a place for everything. Love the way the bag fits comfortably close to the body and I am still able to access everything. My only complaint, and this is surprisingly disappointing... the magnetic closure does not remain closed. This compartment is anything but safe...maybe tissues.
(Posted on 8/12/11)
I purchased this with the intention of bringing it on a 3-week trip to Europe. I used it for a couple of weeks before the trip and found it to be too confining for my needs, even when it's expanded. You'd have to have the tiniest of umbrellas and a smallish water bottle to fit the tallest compartment--mine didn't fit easily. I ended up getting Safe Passage Small Tote and my husband used the MetroSafe bag, and that was perfect. We traveled with our kids, and they were essentially handsfree (although they took turns carrying the bags). We appreciate the security of all the Magellan bags.
(Posted on 7/24/11)
I recently ordered this bag and packed it for a trip. It is quite roomy and lightweight. But, the outside pocket has a magnetic closure which did not stay closed. The magnet is NOT strong enough to keep the pocket closed.
(Posted on 7/14/11)
I just received my bag and am delighted with the design. I wanted a easy bag to carry my wallet , sun glasses, water bottles, and most of all my Kindle, and this is perfect. My Kindle fits fine even with the cover on. I can see this bag being used on every trip I take.
(Posted on 7/8/11)
Recently travelled to Italy. Lots of tales of pickpockets and cautionary advice. Had a great trip. Was alert but felt secure with its features. Good size, overall user friendly. Definitely recommend.
(Posted on 6/23/11)
I'm preparing for a winter trip to Norway and above the Arctic circle to enjoy the northern lights. This compact yet well-planned multipocketed purse will make organizing and packing easier and the trips safer. It will, of course, get some use in the intervening months as I go to NYC, Boston and other crowded places. It has the quality and innovations that I've come to expect from Magellan's.
(Posted on 6/8/11)
I recently took a trip to Paris and Florence; the first trip out of the US in a long time for many reasons, some of them mobility-related. I'm not overly worried about security but am middle-aged and walk with a limp. Some (silly fools) might think I'm an easy target. I'm not, but didn't even want to worry about these issues. So, I confidently walked throughout these two beautiful cities and covered a lot of ground, often in very crowded conditions. The bag is well-designed, was easy to hold against my body for more of a sense of security, held up to constant daily use and was not unattractive. I'd like it a big larger but I'm 5'9" so it probably is well-proportioned for most. I wouldn't hesitate to lend it to a friend and recommend it to a stranger.
(Posted on 6/1/11)
This bag paid for itself on its first trip when two young women cornered my sister and I on a relatively empty Paris metro, jamming us into a corner and making it difficult for me to balance and awkward to hold on to the post. When they bolted at the next stop it was apparent that something was up and sure enough, one of them had tried to open my bag. I had securely locked the zipper in place after buying my ticket, and it wouldn't open. This feature is obviously my favourite but I also like that it has several pockets inside and out, expands to allow for my camera, and the strap easily lengthens and shortens. I could not get a water bottle in the vertical slot or an umbrella, but it did hold my sunglass case. My only question is will it wash? I have a khaki one and it is very dirty from this first trip.
(Posted on 6/1/11)
Took the teal bag to Europe for 3 weeks. Loved it, once I remembered what I'd placed where -- there are several compartments. Only complaint, the toggle on the main zipper came off and I replaced it with a key loop I had.
(Posted on 5/21/11)
This purse is just what I want for travel-right size, security features, water bottle compartment and good price. Well named "VaultPro Max Utility Bag".
(Posted on 5/19/11)
this bag meets all my requirements for zippered compartments, light weight, color, and comfort of strap over shoulder/across the front. no one else sells one like yours that keeps the wearer SAFE. thank you !!

This purse was better than I thought it would be! There are plenty of pockets and zippered compartments. It hangs comfortably accross the body and doesn't feel cumbersome. And the best part is that it is expandable! Italy, here I come!

This is one of the best travel bags I have ever seen! It looks good, feels good, and wow the pockets and extras inside are amazing. Just when you think you've found them all, there is the tiny flash-light! Ingenious!

It is amazing how much time you spent worrying about picpocketers and such when travelling! I check my passport every two minutes but I feel secure with this bag and can enjoy where I am much more. I even braved dJemma el-Fna in Marrakech Morocco with confidence with this bag. Won't be without it again. Just get in the habit of locking it ever time and you're good to go.

I just returned from a 2-week trip to Tanzania, and this bag was great! I especially appreciated the pocket for the water bottle, and the security features. No need for a wallet. I was able to carry that essential roll of travel toilet tissue, my camera, and small flashlight. attractive too. I will definitely use this as my travel purse.. I'd like to see a larger version in the same style that could be used as a carry on for long flights - to hold a change of clothes, a book, etc.

Loved the color of this bag (Blue) I liked this bag. It was lightweight and had enough room. Very comfortable on. I did not like the flap and did not feel as secure with this bag as I did with the day bag I kept. If the front of this bag was more secure I might have kept this.

This is a great bag. It nestles beside the body like a glove and the many 'essential' items needed to feel self-sufficient and well-prepared on a daily (or away-from-home) basis easily fit inside. I love the color and shape!

After traveling almost 3 weeks in steamy SE Asia, I have to say this is a good traveling companion. The water bottle pocket held the size bottle that Asian stores sell and when it wasn't holding water, it held glasses and case. The rest of the pockets were well designed. The only complaints i have are that the magnet on the outside pocket is weaker than I like and the bag strap slips unless you keep adjusting it. I'll be using the bag again and again.

Love, love, love the bag! Use it for everyday use as well as travel.

Would like the bag just a little larger to carry my kindle or ipad. Prefer the cross body carry and can't find one! The other issue is the magnetic tab pocket sometimes opens.

I love my new bag. I bought it to take on trips, but use it everyday. It fits comfortably over the body and is roomy enough for all my "stuff," but small enough so as not to be in the way. The only thing that would make it better is a leather option.

Having just returned from a 4 week tour of the Middle East with this bag I just want to give some hints. The strap slips, my main complaint. If there was a way to also carry it around the waist the bag would be friendlier for the long trips up the 900 plus steps in Petra.

The VaultPro Max Utility Bag lived up to the description given by Magellan's except for one thing.... The side pocket intended for a water bottle is not large enough for even a skinny bottle. It will only hold my glasses.

I truly like the functionality of this bag. There is a pocket for everything, yet the bag is stylish and not cumbersome..and it expands. The lock on the exterior definitely gives me peace of mind when traveling, and I also love the little light on the interior.

I ordered all the VaultPro bags so I could compare them with a bag I've traveled with for years and is no longer being made. I l iked all of the styles. They are very nice, well made bags. The configuration is well thought out; the fabric is nice enough for daily use at home. I had to pick one. The Max Utility Bag was a little difficult to get into for me so I chose another Vault Pro style.

I love this bag! It has everything I need in a bag for vacation. Secure and just large enough.

I ordered this bag for a travel bag, but I like it so much I use it for for an everyday bag. It is a very well organized and makes finding stufff very easy. Even with the steel reinforcements it is very light to carry. Good work on the design.

Just use my new purchase for a trip to Asia Minor. Good overall size but the interior zipper pocket should be slightly wider and deeper. The small exterior pocket on the front of the bag should be just a bit deeper to hold your passport at the airport. The major design flaw, however, is the poor construction of the strap. The stitching of the strap to the bag gave way in about two weeks. I had to hand stitch It. The slide to shorten the strap slides as you wear it.

I got a great deal of use from my bag. It was a nice size; not too big, not too small. Carried all of my necessities plus a water bottle. Nicely contoured and stayed close to my body. Only complaint is that it was hard to zipper with one hand...

This is perfect for travel. Everything you need for day trips fits in perfectly with easy access. It is comfortable to carry either across your chest or over your shoulder.

Took this bag to a combined DisneyWorld/Star Wars convention vacation. It held everything I needed, including a bottle of water. Lightweight and well organized, it was everything I could ask for in a bag. And I really love the beautiful teal color!

This travel bag, which I now use every day to work, is far more that I expected! The quality is wonderful and I am proud to show it off! I love compartments, and this is loaded with them! Thanks for a great product!

I recently purchased this in teal, and with some trepidation- I'm a big purse fan. But it is surprisingly roomy with all the pockets & sections yet maintaining its low profile. It traveled to Italy & Greece with my stepdaughter who loved it. The metal mesh/cable secuity features are lightweight and unobtrusive. I would like to see it in other colors, it may become my everyday purse!
