Magellan's Travel With Ease Vest

Bought it for Barcelona, perfect!

I probably shoudn't be writing a review because I haven't worn the vest yet. i did put it on and was amazed with all the pockets and how well it fit. I'm looking forward to our next trip so I can put away my pocketbook and just use the vest. It has a place for everythingI carry. Thank you for designing something that is truly useful.

I ordered the vest because the the travel one I have is rather bulky. I thought this one would be good for short trips when I didn't need to carry with me quite as many items. I intended to use it only when traveling; however, to my surprise, it looks so good that it can certainly be worn for any casual occasion---when the "pockets" are needed or not. I am delighted with the vest.

I'll get good wear out of this, but I expected more pockets and places to put small objects.

I've purchased a few vests this year because I find them so useful when I walk my dogs or go shopping as I can put my credit cards, license, keys and cell phone in the pockets and thus don't need to carry a purse. However, finding the perfect vest is daunting especially if your dogs shed--as do mine--because their hair can be nearly impossible to remove. I'm happy to report that this vest is elegant, lightweight and comfortable even in hot weather--and is easy to keep pristine. I love it and highly recommend it.

I am not a vest kind of person, but thought I would give the vest (I bought 2) a try because I like the pockets. This vest turned out to be stunning, and draws many compliments. The fabric is silky and elegant. Also, I like the flexibility of the collar, which can go up or be worn shirt style. Very chic. Now I wear these vests very often!

When I ordered this I thought it would be kind of granny-esque but functional. In fact, it looks much more stylish on than in the online photo, so fear not! The fabric is 100% wrinkle proof and very lightweight. The neck is great, either lies flat like lapels or zips up into the turtleneck zone. Not tight at all when zipped. And I like the little toggles. But I docked it 1 star because it's not really a travel vest as it has no inside pockets at all. I don't like a billion pockets - you look like you are going on safari and can never find your lip balm. But you really need one good passport sized inner pocket. The outside pockets snap shut and are nice and big and the idea of the zippered pocket is good. But it is in mesh, which looks like it will get a hole the first time something is shoved into it (like a paper boarding pass). But for me all this isn't all that important as I have the Magellan's travel vest (unisex) if I'm going for the military/fishing/lots of pockets look. This is great if you just need a place to put your keys and doggie bags - and you can still look like a girl!

Its very lightweight and long enough for my 5'9" frame. I like the stylijg too so its definitely a keeper

This is a great vest. It has a wonderful style to it, but not enough pockets for the type of things you would need for a long trip. I returned it for a different style. If I could afford to have more than one, this would be it.

Much to my surprise, last time I ordered from Magellan, both the garment and its replacement had significant manufacturing defects. So it's a pleasure to observe that this vest as well as the companion pants seem sturdy, well-made and very well fitted. What I particularly like about the vest is that it doesn't scream "practical travel garment" but instead looks like, well, regular clothing. Should be a good, lightweight travel companion.

This vest was lighter than I thought, but turns out that is fine for layering and warmer weather. It is packed full of pockets and has a stylish cut.
