Magellan's Sun Protection Wrap

Several times I discovered that the "available" date for this was after (or more frustratingly during) the trip for which I wanted it. But now I have it, and it was well worth the wait! Even though I haven't yet used it for sun protection, it has already become my go-to wrap to take into restaurants etc. that I so often find too vigorously air-conditioned. I can feel comfortable and stylish at the same time! In one extra-cool place, I even pulled down the hood/collar fabric around me to make a sort of shawl that covered my shoulders and upper arms. Instant comfort! Thank you, Magellan's.

I purchased this wrap for a trip through the UK, Portugal and Spain. I used it almost daily and love that it takes up very little space and can be easily tucked in a purse or day bag when not in use. It also came in handy for flights that are cool. I will purchase additional colors when they become available. Magellan's please add a tan/khaki, red or gray.

Love, love, love this wrap. I got it in white for a trip to Florida and California, and it was perfect for everything, from hiking to going out to dinner. I hand washed it in a hotel sink and it came out great. The ability to pull it over my head was surprisingly useful. I got lots of compliments.

I love this versatile wrap. So comfortable and functional and so easy to dress up or down. I wanted to order another but only white is still available.

I love this garment. Great wrap for traveling whether it is over casual clothes during the day or more formal wear on a chilly evening. Also great on airplanes. Light weight and beautiful colors. It is a staple when I travel.

I purchased this sweater for a recent trip to France. It's extremely comfortable and very versatile. It went with everything dressy and casual. Great for keeping a draft off my neck in the plane. I wore it almost every day. I only had one occassion to use the "hood" feature when I got caught in the rain during an evening walk. It started to pill slightly where my purse and backpack rubbed, but that was easily fixed with a fabric shaver when I got home. Washes beautifully in the machine. I plan to bring this with me whenever I travel. I bought it in white. I wish it came in a light gray.

I purchased this wrap with reservations, but now I am a believer! I wore it to an outdoor festival on the coast of Maine. It was sunny, but cool in the morning, getting progressively warmer all day. I was warm in the morning, cool in the afternoon and did not get a bit of sunburn. I was sitting on a grassy hill and wrapped my legs in it. I keep it in the car and throw it on when I go in an airconditioned store. It is a wonderful, versatile garmet and I highly recommend it. (Although the other day I threw it on before entering Wal Mart and something just didn't feel right. I stepped into the ladies room and realized I had it on upside down!!!). It also launders well and dries very quickly. I've also had lots of compliments on how elegant it looks, even with shorts.

The wrap is great BUT, the label on the back shows through for all to see and that does not please me...otherwise I would order more.

This Wrap is the coolest thing ever! The color that I ordered was the pink, as the white was sold out.No matter how you wear it this Wrap is fairly light weight for the amount of fabric this wrap has. Because of the amount of fabric and excellent design this wrap is a keeper no matter what color

I ordered 2 sun wraps - aqua for mom & pink for my sister; they both love them! I'd really like one myself, so that will be my next purchase!

I used this as a wrap while on the train from Vancouver to Toronto. It packs easily and the wrinkles "fall" out.

I love this Jacket. This is the second one I bought, so I have a black one and a white one. I have worn this to dress up a dress and colored jeans for a night out. It is light, comfortable, not hot at all which was my worry with the first one, especially here in Hawaii. It looks nice, and can be worn several ways especially if you are sensitive to the sun. You can pull the collar up over your head to protect you instead of carrying an umbrella all the time. This would make a great gift to anyone who is sun sensitive. Problem is that I bought XL and there is no way it would fit my friend who is bigger than me, but shorter. I think it would drag the ground on her. It packs in a suitcase very compact and washes up nicely. Please bring it back in some Pastel colors. I would definitely buy another one.

This cardigan/sun protection wrap was great on our last trip. In Iran it was easy to cover your hair and arms at all times, and in Turkey I could leave my head uncover outside religious sites whilst being protected from the harsh sun. It was comfortable and warm onboard the flight, and easy to pack into a bag when not in use. Recommended!

I just received my Sun protection wrap and I couldn't be more pleaesed. I am going to India in February and I will be visiting a number of religious sites that require that I cover my head. I was looking for an item that is not only versatile, but modest and stylish. This wrap exceeded my initial expectations. It quickly converts from a dressy wrap to a stylish upper body cover up and head wrap. It is light weight yet has sleeves that provide the modest cover up with the features that I desired. I love it so much I plan to order this item in black as well. You won't be disappointed!

I bought this for a trip to Israel where I knew we would be visiting many religious sites. It was great being able to quickly cover my head when needed. The fabric is lightweight and wonderful to wear. My only complaint is the sleeves are a little tight. With a sleeveless top, this wasn't a problem, but if my top had sleeves the sweater didn't seem to fit as well. However, this won't deter me from ordering another sweater in either black or white.

I love this jacket! It can be worn with jeans to dress them up or with anything. The comfort is amazing. Soft and lightweight, easy to wash and easily packable. I will be taking this on our trip to Vegas and Hawaii. I hope they bring out a few more colours.

This has become my favorite shirt. It is super soft, pretty, versatile. It provides great sun protection without suffocating heat, the fabric breathes nicely. This shirt also works well as a crossover for evening wear providing light and stylish protection from the chill. Easily dresses up or down. It is so comfortable..Be careful of the part in front that hangs low. It can easily dip into things you may not want your shirt in and knock other things over if you turn too quickly. Fortunately it can be tied in front for ease in such situations as buffet tables and public restrooms, etc...I love this shirt.

Drape is perfect. Fabric soft and not too thin or too warm. I got the orchid in size 2x, and it was perfect. color closer to lavender than pink, but beautiful. I'd buy one in each color if they were in stock! Please, please get more in!!! More colors, too. I'd wear them every day.

I get sun sickness and so this is great but being I carry a lot of weight in the upper arms and it is snug. I found that when in a hurry I can tie the sleeves together and wear like a cape. I wish they had it in a blue shade. I have the orchid. Now I can wear sphagetti strap tops and wear this when in the sun.

Absolutely love this!!! So comfortable, just right for cool days, excellent for sun without being too warm, good head/hair coverage, multiple ways to wear, just can't say enough good things about it!

I ordered this for an upcoming trip to Europe. I wanted sun protection and didn't expect much else. I LOVE this wrap! It's so comfy, protects against the sun and looks great too! I have been wearing it non-stop since it arrived. I normally don't wear my travel clothes at home but this looks so chic with skinny jeans, high wedges and aviators. I ordered this in small (Orchid). The colour is a pinky mauve, which actually looks better than in the pictures. For reference I am an xs-s in tops. This does fit a little loose on the arms and if you have long arms it may be a little short as the length of the arm fits me perfect (5'3"). The fabric feels super silky, soft and comfy. When you wrap it over your shoulder it actually stays put through most activity.

I absolutely love this wrap! It is just light enough for a cool morning, evening, or restaurant - it is extremely packable - and the hood is excellent for sun or wind. I love, love, love the wrap quality because it looks so good on any size woman. I get positive comments and "Where did you get that?" Where ever I go...I just love it!

Originally bought this to wear when traveling abroad but have worn when going out at evenings at home. Comfortable and stylish. Can wear it many different ways. Ended up buying it in both colors. Heading to Alaska on a cruise soon and intend on taking both.

I just used the pink one on vacation. I used with a lot of different outfits, casual and dressy and on the air plane. It never got wrinkled. I washed it out and it dried over night. I left it open when it was warm out and wrapped it around when it was cool outside. It was a perfect spring wrap. I'm buying another black one.

Comfortable, attractive and multi-purpose. I wear this wrap in many different types of situations. Can be dressed up or down. Bought a second one in white.
